That looks great! Just one small critique on the form. The most important part of the exercise isn’t the contraction, it’s the stretch or the negative, so controlling and really feeling the stretch is much more rewarding than letting the weight free fall. You might need to go down in weight just a little bit but don’t get discouraged from that. In a couple of weeks you will get the weight back as long as you are consistent. This is also true for every movement or muscle at the gym. Keep it up man!
I got the idea from watching CT fletcher. I want to be explosive, its like chain bench where it gets heavier at the top thats the point of the chains
Oh I see, that’s pretty cool!
Plus on preacher curls if you go kinda heavy you dont wanna overextend far down, thats how alot of guys get the bicep tears you see. But thanks man like&subscribe for more!
Nice I used to do these years ago when I first started bodybuilding, but once I started doing dips and triceps push Downs I stopped doing them
I quit doing skullcrushers for years because i would go to the forehead and up, all i would feel was elbow pain. I started watching videos on youtube and asking guys in the gym how to fix it. What helped me is setting my shoulders back and going behind the head and up with a roll. Also, getting the extra stretch at the bottom by going behind the head seems to hit my triceps way more.
Horrible form. The point of this exercise is the extention at the top
@@Sicnesses23 behind the head takes away elbow pain
Y'all got some wobbly weights. I bet you could prolly hit 4 reps if it were more stable.
That was after 300x5
I think i could 3 fresh not 4 lol
Just seems counter productive, no control on eccentric or concentric, just swinging something heavy and using gravity and momentum. Just use a bloody lighter weight.
Try it before you knock it, my arms are super sore from these. I worked up to it, this was the end, i did 80s for 10 each arm before this. Even Arnold did heavy cheat curls
Man you're strong. Keep it up man
Thanks 350 is my best bench so far
Keep it up bro! 💪🏽
Thanks
those weights should have clips so they dont move or fall off!!!
Not they are fine on the machines
Nah bro on machines its fine
Beast
Yeah i tried 5 plates the other day a couple times and got it about halfway. Hammer strength decline is def way easier than flat bench tho but i can tell more pressing power, today i did 3 sets of 280 6, 6 and 5 reps
Progress is a slow process and this method can destroy ur joints
Strength is the goal. I did this at the end after working sets of 10-12. I want to get the machine maxed out for working sets easy eventually. You cant tell me if i go from working with 3 plates to 6-7 i wont get bigger muscles
Some people prefer strength to aesthetics. To each their own
You are not going to get strength from this, all you doing is recruiting your nervous system. Which can make u push a-lot more than this but will come at the cost of injuries
@@ffswhydoicare i can do 3 plates and a 10 or so for working sets, isnt progressive overload (in the 6-12 range) the way to go?
My bad dawg i thought you were just tryna be a dick at first. Yeah you're right i probably do need to take this a little bit slower but still i wanna eventually have machines maxed out for working sets
Nice stuff
Bro did a 1 rep max on the chest press 😭
I did it at the end after a 3x12 increasing weight
💯
Just looked through ur profile… please get help before you hurt yourself
Wym bro?
I got 3 plates each side for 18 reps before this just wanted to see how hard i could go with it
190 on each side is ok, I can do 400 on each side
Lol fr? Whats your flat bench max? My best is 350
Impressive. Keep it up man!
Yeah idk what the levers weigh but total is probably somewhere around 400 lbs
At my gym, I know they usually weigh 8 lbs
😮
Lol wtf 😳 😅allow that
I do cheat curls rarely. But the goal is to get where i can do this weight for reps with decent form and so on. I have a video with 135 for reps not terrible form.
Good job man
bro's spine is gone
I have kyphosis, hard to squat or deadlift with perfect form
@@thedailybullshowyoutube it looks more like lordosis since your back is extremely rounded. It could really be a risk of injury if you don’t stop rounding your back. Also your hips rise before anything else which also puts pressure on your lower back.
@@chonkeboi i was diagnosed around age 13 (22 now) but thanks
@@chonkeboi ive noticed looking up seems to help too during deadliftd
@@thedailybullshowyoutube i still think you should try to change your back position to a more neutral position, I also had kyphosis as a kid but I’m still able to deadlift with a neutral spine fine. Though I’m not sure how bad yours is. It’s just that having a round back can have can increase injury risk
Omg it’s Jason Bourne
What is the point of this
hahahhahahahaha good question
Gets your body used to holding heavy weight
Keep going🙌🏾🫶🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks bro, everybody hating doesnt have a single video lifting on their channel, they probably cant even bench 225
I am a woman. Don't let anybody put you down in what you do. They have no life, obviously. Well done.
@@MiixAndMatch lol i assumed you were a a man by the username by bad, but yeah trolls ruin everything
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice hip thrust
Cheat curl, i have video with 135 for reps way better form
rip to this dudes back 🪦💀
Cheat curls help you do more strict with overload
Bro you had at least 2 more reps in you. I’m proud of you tho
Dude I was gonna say the same thing, he could do atleast 3 for sure
Use lighter weight and better form
I care about strength not aesthetics
Amazing reps dude keep up the hard work
Lol i actually did 5 reps but i guess the guy using my phone messed up. It obviously wasnt perfect form but either way 65s for 5 aint bad at all!
The biggest my gym has is 120s, i think i could get an 80 but i'm a lil scared to try it, i do half reps with a spotter for sets of like 10 with 60s-70s to get used to the heavy weight. I'd like to get the 120s one day!
Form needs work if youre gonna be throwing weight around, still a good lift, just be careful, and drill form every day
You probably can't tell from the angle, but i have kyphosis(curved spine) so squats and deadlifts are just naturally awkward to me
@@thedailybullshowyoutube oh that would explain it, well hopefully it's still safe for your situation, nice job brother
Heavy ass weight bro!! FYI though raw means no belt no straps no sleeves
In a raw contest sleeves belt and wrist wraps are allowed. Raw deadlift means no straps, which i didnt use
Congrats! 🎉
Its 140 kg not 160
350 lbs
Solo arriesgándose a reventar su bíceps no se imaginan cómo duele😅😅😅
I only went about halfway down, i did 60x10 before this and it was super easy
No ,no no,!!! That not the right way how to train a new beginner, he suppose to train like a natural bodybuilder and keep increasing 5lbs every week or two weeks until you get stronger ,ligth weigth first and then mediun weight ok no heavy weigths ok
I can do 40s for like 20 reps im just doing partial overload to get stronger, like static holds on bench press but for biceps
Im the one doing the curls in the video i been working out on and off since i was 13 but got back into it about 2 years ago
@@thedailybullshowyoutube that's great but you needs to understand ,training heavy don't help you to get better is train medium weight and high amount of reps trust me you look like a God natural I did it and thanks to that won the national natural ok
@@eduardomendoza6922 my goal is strength not looks but i feel you
@@thedailybullshowyoutube the reason I keep insisting is because I see a nice guy in you, I mean good that's all ok
And now cardio 😏. Hipposaurus.
Says the person with no lifting videos on their channel😂 go back to playing the Xbox
Jaguars all day also good pr man.
Anabolic
Lol i wish😂 im 5'11 240 but alot of fat weight
Very nice
beast
Live a good, long, productive, balanced & full life.
Good stuff
Nice job keep it up!
The world record is 251 lb by Leroy Walker i believe, i'll just see how far i can go lol
*half reps
If you do super deep with leg press you risk injury, im just getting back into training legs cuz i popped a knee awhile back doing squats
Good feats! A slower eccentric would lower your overall rep count, but would get you to failure quicker AND hypertrophy that muscle like CRAZY. You'd get HUGE fast.💯💯💯💪🏾🧔🏾♂️
