Im 62 and was born in Nutley at Clara Maas ( i know..not in Nutley) while my parents lived on Washington Ave above a storefront. I attended K-4 , and few months of 5th grade at Washington school. I learned to ride my bike in the ball field and used to sled on the hill. Both my parents grew up in Nutley. My mother and I actually had the same 1st grade teacher Mrs Jones. Had plenty of goodtimes at Yantacaw and the mud hole. I remember walking to get donuts at DD at Park Ave and Washington. And me and Michael Antonocci walking along the tracks to that mall and to Clifton to see my cousins. Going to the ITT tower. Dinking along the Passaic river. Goingto HS football games . Me and that guy. We did some things even at a young age. Never any troubles. Good times.

Definitely not an unbiased overview of the bill. Sounds more like you just don't like the idea of a smaller government driven more by normal citizens rather than 'representatives' (that don't represent their citizens anyway), and that you trust our 'representatives' more than fellow citizens.

He's saying like 10 yrs ago when the rates were low, u could save up a little bit & buy a home instead of continuing to pay rent so everyone was telling ppl to do it. Interest rates are too high now, home prices are too high so avoid pressure to buy a house unless u absolutely have to.

I shoot real estate. I give my agents lots of extras; video, virtual tour, social media ads, etc. 95% will upload the pictures to MLS and that’s it. They won’t use any of the marketing materials. Real estate agents suck, at least 95% of them.

These prices and rates are not sustainable, people getting into the market now will be in for a huge affordability issue in an economic downturn.

I still cant afford a home even now. Maybe consider rent prices before assuming home prices would normalize. For the market to become stablized it would require for people to be economically stable. Right now no one has enough money for anything. The only people buying houses will be those who are planning on renting them out.
