This is great video, I use to hare hunt here in Michigan in the 70's.. I sure miss it.. I'd forgotten how fast they are.. I use to hunt swamps with my dogs and a ruger 10/22 and sometimes my pistol...dogs and rabbits are long gone.. thanks for the memories... I'd like to inquire about a hare hunt in Maine sometime. Awesome footage !

I like those faster beagles. You have some good ones. I hate those crawling field trial beagles that stop to bark. Really nice video.

Nice video but you need to train the dogs to get the rabbits on there own and bring them back. Ill put my Jacks up against any dog oit there

Good times!! The rabbit don't like crossing the wide trails and dirt roads here in Down East Maine. Once in a great while they will but not very often. If they do cross the road, it's usually a ranger that'll take the dogs clear across the county!
