I'm amused that you call your blanks 'signs' and your finished pieces are 'barn quilts'. This makes two videos of yours that I have watched and I like what you are doing, since I'm doing the same. I was in the sign business for 30 years, and have been an artist all my life. My wife is a quilter, so I became fascinated with quilting and decided to incorporate that into my sign making experience. Like you, I find palette wood the perfect media for not only barn quilts, but all kinds of projects, and the scraps are used for kindling for our wood burning stove that we have had for 45 years. Keep doing what you are doing!

I wish I could have heard your instructions better. Heard the equipment very well. Just need to speak louder. This is the 3rd video I've seen where you can barely hear the instructions. Otherwise, very good.

I love this! Is the wood pallet board? How do you take apart the pallets? What kind of paint do you use?

I have always wanted to create a barn quilt and I finally brought some pallets home and broke them down this summer. I have watched numerous videos in painting barn quilts and I have found that yours is my favorite and I am definitely going to use your technique. I hope to sand and put together this weekend and paint as things dry. What I have not seen in any of the videos is how to hang them. Do you have a certain way you hang them? Would love to hear your solution. Thank you for your inspiration. I have subscribed and will check out your other videos. But, this really was the best.

That’s really pretty! I’ve done a lot with chalk paint but never thought about using it this way. And the acrylic looks great! I don’t think anyone would ever be able to tell the difference with the way you applied the acrylic. Makes me want to head to the thrift store!
