It helps with the police. Police don't even pay any attention to me ever. I remember driving once and I looked over just as a cop car was passing... expecting him to be staring into my car looking for an excuse to stop me and he threw up his hand smiling??? THAT NEVER HAPPENED IN SEATTLE WHERE I CAME FROM, I mean I would get pulled over if I didn't turn on my left right blinker. So yeah, the fact that El Paso is a Hispanic city means, the cops don't see you as a threat because most Hispanics have a brown person in their family. Sometimes people will come up to me??? and start speaking spanish and I LOOK TOTALLY BLACK, and it throws me, because you can live in El Paso and not have to speak English, and when I show them I don't understand Spanish they are confused??? Crazy.

This is a hangout spot for african americans fyi. The rooms are not that nice and the hotel is in need of maintenance and lacks the real Mexican atmosphere you will expect from Mexican resorts. I felt like I was at a ghetto african american club. No need to go to Mexico for that.

Is this resort mainly couples or do more single people go? My friend and I are looking for a party resort but not one that is all coupled up.

The Food looked excellent. D. You are a stunning Woman. E. You should be more diligent in FILMING your excursions & commenting on them, as well. {There was nothing on Tao's food} Pizza takes 45-minutes Minimum(anywhere) you go. living in El Paso and not going to Mexico is like living in San Diego and not going to the beach. i live in San Diego now , i don't go to the beach anymore because i am afraid now, i never was before., it's crazy i know, i want to swim in the ocean so bad, but .....

El Paso has had diversity Buffalo solders were sent to El Paso to wipe out the remaining Apache resisters in the Guadalupe range , they were told if they did not do it they would be hung , so its a sad history. but there is diversity its mixed very well into the Chicano population. it was has been one big family for a very long time, people trying escape war from all fronts and parts of the world , the difference is we mixed and the whites don't. that is why they all seem Mexican to you, i thought the same thing, i thought all the brown people were Mexicans.

you are missing the best part of El Paso being too afraid to go to Mexico, its like living in France and never going to Paris.

as teenages we clubbed in Mexico and got away with drinking and dancing all night. it was so cool before all the xenophobia sweeping the nation.

i saw Carlos Santana in El Paso , it was like God was visiting El Paso. he played where the Rodeo is Fairgrounds, i cant remember the name of the place, i went with a friend and his parents we were teenagers.

I love El Paso , but i don't live there anymore , i miss it so much !

I stayed here back in May and I loved it! I didn’t really care for the food, except for breakfast. Breakfast was fye every single day! I will say, I personally don’t think that diamond club is worth it. So next time I stay there, I will not getting diamond club. They oversold it in my opinion.
