Read👇🏻 Here are some points on how sunscreen can cause acne & pimples: 1. Chemical active ingredients like oxybenzone, avobenzone and octinoxate can irritate the skin, causing acne and pimples. 2. Fragrances and dyes in sunscreen can cause skin irritation, allergic reactions. 3. Comedogenic ingredients like petroleum jelly, mineral oil can clog pores. 4. Physical active ingredients like zinc oxide can be harsh for sensitive skin 5. Some sunscreen can be too rich and heavy, clogging pores and leading to acne and pimples. 6. Using a sunscreen not suitable for your skin type. Remember ~ Everyone’s skin is different and what works for one person may not work for another. Always patch test a new product and choose one suitable for your skin type.
