@@susanknight4043 use a leash. Stay close enough if he starts to get up say no sit return and praise before he gets up maybe do a walk around. Anticipate he might get up so you can tell him not to . be patient and lots of repetitions.

@@kengall4580 there’s a lot of distractions in that hall grooming is on the right. The drying room is behind us in the lobby is to the right of the camera. People come in and out the door from outside the lobby or Grooming .

@@myschutzhund3 it's not me as the father, but he does our 2 boys and my wife and daughter.ive yet to have any company by since we got him.

@@fightinu2739 Sounds like he treats the boys like litter mates. He belongs in the crate. When out of the crate he belongs on a leash so you can teach rules and limits. Strategy is interrupt, redirect then praise. Without a leash he can ignore you and learns you are meaningless. You cannot be an observer. You need to teach the dog and the kids how to interact together. If young kids run and yell and play the dog will do what he has learned.

@@myschutzhund3 your right.i don't leash him indoors cause he chews through them within seconds.i will look into one he can't chew through.i try to let him out when we are home cause I feel bad.hes in his crate for sometimes 6-8 hour shift.i can't let the kids take him out due to his mouthing.how long should I crate him at 7 months old?I thank you so much for writing back.

@@fightinu2739 That is a long time in the crate. You don't need a leash he can't chew through but if you are holding the leash you need to teach him "no" then redirect to a nylabone or something appropriate. You are responsible to teach rules and limits and not be an observer. Do not just watch and report what he does wrong. Where are you located? You need to work with someone that can help you. Maybe someone can take him out during your absence?
