So, I am looking for a book or movie or series with a somewhat overbearing man who is actually very respectful, but everyone knows him by his loner mysterious persona yet walks in the room not intimidated by anyone. That is the love intrest with hidden talents, and has not met the right person yet. I dont care about the genre but I will need detsils on the plot. Hopefully they have to work together for a common end. I need a story where that man gets caught up in the life of the female MC, and is the type that can do anything potentially dangerous alone, but once he meets her, never wants to do even the mundane without her as they develop a bond he has never known before. It can be flirty, it can be sweet. All the stops of strangers enemies to friends in their banter of not pure hate or disrespectful commentary, but to a good place and then lovers. The "touch her and you die" trope. The "who did this to you" trope. Even the forbidden lovers trope. The tender intamacy of the almost kisses and embraces that would only sooth by the other person being there. The relization they are the only one they would want there at that moment. A plot that lets the end feature a man who becomes a protective father and loving husband who proves he would do anything to protect his family even from small things like kids doing a mean thing only he noticed and handles it without violence but comedy domanince, or if he has a daughter and she likes a guy he gets over protective and making calls to keep tabs on the crush. Being a protective dad and man in a non toxic way and us knowing full well that he will succeeded in protecting his family even though the stakes are high, and the end may come out unexpected with difficult choices, he is there, and the story that once could have been seen as enemies to lovers, became the story of if you mess with anyone I love, you make an enemy of me. And you know he will win. You cannot help but root for him and want him to be real. I cannot find any stories like that, even a little. If anyone has any and all suggestions, if this sparked a story that came to mind, I beg you to share it with me! Anything with even one if these details sounds delightful!!!
