I love this! Im all for making our lives more eco friendly in easy accessible ways, especially since people tend to buy a lot of unnessessery stuff because of trends and then throw them away without using them much... Regarding your tip with the pencil extenders, ive been using old ballpoint pen berrals (from free marketing pens that pretty much all companies throw at you anyway) and just squeezing my pencil stumps in there (once the ink is used up obviously) instead! I dont buy ballpoint pens anyway but the ones that are gifted to me are not thrown away as well because of that. I have also started to switch fineliners for dip pens + ink, it safes a whole lot of plastic waste AND money since you can keep reusing your pens and just buy new ink. A bottle of ink can last for months, if not years, as well as the nips. Oh and refills! If you can buy refills for something, do that, too! Dont buy 10 packs of mechanical pencils, buy one pencil and buy refills for it insead. SO much cheaper and more eco friendly! If you can test an art supply youve never tried, before actually buying it, do that. If you can get something second hand, get it second hand. If you dont use something, sell or gift it to someone who will. Its all about trying not to waste something that can be given a second life. And lastly, the very best way to make your life more sustainable, is simply not buying unnessecery items! Do you really need 3 watercolour palattes? Do you really need plastic storage bins? Probaply not! If you can make do with the things you already own, you can easily safe so many resources. As the cherry on top you can also take good care of your supplies to make them last longer. If you clean your palattes right after using them they last forever. If you take proper care of your brushes, even the cheapest sets will last years! Sustainabillity is not necessarily about buying glas water jars instead of plastic ones, its about using the water jugs you already have at home and just collect dust in the pantry! Just leaving all this here for anyone who wants a few more tips in addition to this amazing and informative video❤

Good tips but I would argue that using whatever scrap paper and a simple pencil to do thumbnail sketches is way better that using up plastic markers.
