HEY!!! Welcome to the World of Gervase channel! I'm a busy mom living life with Jesus at the center of it all. My life is filled with all things homeschool, cooking, cleaning, organizing, ministry (youth pastors and counseling ministry), and all those other things that fill life. I love to encourage others to do what God has called them to do while doing it with excellence.

thank you . this video was very helpful. I'm starting full-time ACE paces next year.
How/where do you store finished paces and tests? Thank you for this video! It’s very helpful!
During the school year, when one pace is complete they are put back with the rest of the paces. The tests go into a accordion folder that is divided by subjects and they are put behind there correct subject in order completed. (I can do a video on this, if you would like) This past year, I began scanning in all the tests and saving them in folders labeled by subject. At the end of the year, everything gets pulled from the school room and we put it all in a crate and in storage. However, I realize this can take a lot of space. Therefore, I store what we can until we start running out of space and then we get rid of the paces that are the oldest, while still keeping the tests. Thanks for your comment. I’m so glad this video helped.
Are you still using ACE?
Yes, we continue to use ACE.
Thanks so much!! I’m contemplating starting my own private school & love how organized you are 😄
Thanks so much!! How exciting on the possibility of starting a private school!!
Thanks so much, this has helped me considering im actually goig to start homeschooling my 2 boys 12 and 13, it's made me realise i need to go and get things to help set up as well
Are you follow Ace Curriculum directly from the school of tomorrow or you buy the paces on your own?
I buy the paces from either Christianbook.com or Curriculumexpress.com.
@@WorldofGervase fantastic so you follow homeschooling directly or you have and umbrella school. how you get the high school diploma?
@@DraHeriangie We are not currently under an umbrella school. Our plan is when my son starts high school, we will join Lighthouse Christian Academy that uses A.C.E. They will do the transcript, issue a diploma and have a graduation ceremony. However, in my state, Virginia, parents can issue the high school diploma as long as all the requirements have been met for graduation. It's important to check your own state's guidelines. This website might help you search for your state and see its requirements: hslda.org/legal.
@@WorldofGervase thanks so much for your help! How you create the Word Building binder for his daily work?
Thanks so much for your information. I like how you make the WB reference binder. Do you have it electronically?
Thanks! Sorry, not at this time. Maybe in the future, it's something that I can look into doing.
I Love this idea! I just write the goals a day at a time for my first grader and I usually have to remind him when a checkup is coming up. I think I need to implement writing out 2 weeks at a time so he can see when his checkups will be coming up. Thanks! BTW I love your planner! Do you have a link?
Hi Kassandra! Thanks!! The planner I used in this video is the "Dated Middle/High School Student Planner for Academic School Year 2020-2021- Jostens Planner Brand- (8-1/2" x 11")" on Amazon. I will leave the link at the end of the comment. However, they also have a planner for Elementary, but there is not much difference between the two. I have used these planners for the last five years and they work so well for us. Hope you have a blessed rest of your school year. Happy Homeschooling!! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXMNH22/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@WorldofGervase thank you! I will definitely look into this planner for next school year😊
Thank you! Love your channel
Thank you for watching!
World of Gervase of course!❤️
Thank you for this! This helped me!❤️
Probably not a good idea to have the tests close by...
Hey Joyanna! Thanks for your comment and suggestion. However, before this, our tests were in a binder only 2 feet farther away. Regardless of proximity, he knows where the tests are being taken from. This just works better for us considering I am in the room when he is in the room, plus we also strive for opportunities for teaching and exercising integrity. We feel homeschool is not just an opportunity for teaching core curriculum or electives but also teaching character and real-life situations to prepare him to exercise that character. Thankfully, so far, we have not had any issues with the placement or how we store our tests. Again, thanks for stopping by and commenting.
