Savannah is beautiful. I find most states on the east coast beautiful both north and south. HOWEVER.... Whenever I look at pics I immediately get the sense of going back to the plantation. I dont know... Even moreso than Atanta. I think ill stick with moving to Atlanta.

I’m a new young realtor in Savannah Georgia so I’m new to the whole real estate process. I got to scad too. But I’ve noticed it’s been a sellers market since august (when I started) and it’s slowly transitioning. I believe there is 4months of inventory and I was wondering when do you think we will hit that 6 months of inventory?
Agree I wouldn't want the head ache not worth it .............
If you can do all of the required jobs yourself, then its no issue, it will always end up cheaper than buying an equivalent (relatively) flawless house. If you can't do those jobs and don't have a lot of disposable income to get the jobs done, just buy a smaller finished house

Not worth more than 240k. If you want to be delusional and believe your going to sell that for any were near 400k your going to need it to be bigger 4 to 5 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms and a 2 car garage just to start.
Unfortunately, entities will buy it, just so it can drive prices upward and so they can continue to rob the masses from decent living.

I live in Savannah, Georgia. Not five minutes from this location. Not exactly an upscale neighborhood but minutes away from downtown Savannah and less than a half hour from Tybee Island on the Atlantic.
Might pay 364,000 that's it.

Unfortunately most of these new builds in the area are cheaply built and overpriced especially if they are built in a community. You will spend time fighting with them after your year warranty is up. Houses are to high priced and quality is to low.
That's a waist of time to get that don't worth the money u know what type u can build for that money
HOAs are a rip off and anyone who knowing house a home in these areas aren't the sharpens knives in the drawer and that's a hill I'm willing to die on 💯
Cheaply built. Over, over priced and the traffic in Pooler is absolutely insane. No.....
Most people I know in USA can't afford to buy these homes, they cost to much money . The way the interest rates work, the home owner will pay double the price in interest charges for 30 fixed mortgage, if they refinance, they can add on an addition half of the price of the house, where the bank is getting the full price house back in interest charge, plus half. Home associations suck, because they don't do any work at all for the money you are giving to them. You are just giving them money, the people runnning the HOAs are just taking the money, and not doing any service in the HOA but collecting money, fees on top of home owners paying city taxes and county taxes. That is theft.
