Preparing my recording/streaming setup for my next Deep House Course. Here is a little recording test i made. Very simple. Normally i would add more stuff work on drums and sound ;-)

You are so right! What are you using for that bassline ? Do U use Maschine most of the time for your beats ? And if so is that because of the "Maschine swong" Love seeing your videos :-)
I use Maschine because of the many expansions I have. Combine it with other samplers. Rx1200 or Tal drum. Swing I add in logic. Bass is the uad Moog

always depends on the style you aiming for. you can check this tut or my sample pack - there is also a free version with some loops
Dude how did you create those drums what sample library are you using ?
Do not anymore. But nothing special. Sounds from my library. Also often look on splice or loopcloud for oneshots to create a kit. Check out my other videos on YT or my deep house course

Should you always normalise drum samples from loopcloud and what is the benefit?

@@I_HOUSE_YOUof course I know how to gain stage, but if samples you pull in from loopcloud are all the same level due to normalising then it makes it easier but I was told it can affect the dynamics

These programs are for installation into a computer, right? Then thru a keyboard connected to the PC you can play them. Would love to get them sometime to use them on my PC as a band.
