Breezin’ Jam with Tommy Emmanuel
What a great honor to be able to play a tune with the greatest living guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel! This was a part of the student/mentor concert at his guitar summit in Nashville 2023. Quite scary to be playing amongst such a legend, the hardest part was trying to not lose the rhythm during Tommy’s solo!

Also, that guitar looks really old, I've never seen a pickup like that. What kind of guitar is it?
So for the pickup, I can’t exactly remember the name (my apologies) but the guitar is a Harmony 1310 ‘67 I do believe!
DUDE the sitar part you mimic at 1:33 with the harmonics is genius! I'm pretty sure those notes are made by strumming an open sitar(?), you transcribed them into harmonics. I love it.
Aw man thank you for noticing this!! It’s my favorite part of the arrangement! A good friend of mine helped me come up with this harmonic part, once he helped me figure that out I fell in love with this arrangement :)

@@BenjoJams I played for about 20 years, have a music degree as one of my degrees, I was fairly good guitar player, it's hard to be really creative when you're in a difficult place but I definitely should pick it up.

Some random cheering is ok, but it feels like few audience members were trying really hard to make it about themselves. Like wtf is that "beautiful" during the coda? It's more heckling than anything else at this point.
feel you on that man, some laughs and some cheers after hot licks and solos are to be expected if the audience is feeling it but yeah the “beautiful” guy was prob a bit much especially during an intimate moment there lol
