Welcome to my channel! Originally called "44CT232" when I first started this channel over 8 years ago, I had intended primarily to make radio related videos, but have since added vintage tech and car related stuff to the mix as well. While I don't have much content at the moment, I hope to upload more in the future, and improve the quality of the videos I produce.
Chinese "SHZH YND800DQT-2" electric scooter - walkaround and quick ride
Just a quick demonstration video of my little Chinese electric scooter. Power is about equivalent to that of a 50cc bike. Originally ran on lead-acid batteries, which I replaced with LiFePO4 batteries.

eBike updates - plus ride video
Переглядів 2393 місяці тому
Just a few minor updates about my homebuilt eBike, plus talking about a crash I had recently, along with some riding footage. Please excuse the very poor video quality during the ride - my phone's camera has no image stabilization at all. Also, the constant squeak you hear is the rear brakes dragging very slightly. I should've adjusted that before filming.

Hahaha I laughed when I starting hearing the squeeking on the wheel
Haha, it usually doesn't do that, but of course the brakes decided to drag the moment I record a video 😅🤣
Muy bueno
That bike is a middlefinger to the trend of internal cable routing
Haha, there actually are a lot of cables routed through the frame, but I left a bit too much slack in the wiring at the front 😛 I'll tidy it up eventually.
That’s pretty cool tbh I never thought about finding parts on temu
Yeah, I was surprised at what parts were available on Temu. Still can't find a decent rear tail light though.
well done🎉73's from Timo
Pretty cool, but wouldn't it run better on a Pico, or ESP-32..?
Thanks 🙂 Yeah, I'm sure it would, but a 2560 Mega was what I had on hand. I plan on doing a better version with an ESP32 in the near future.
Good day. Thank you for your video, please can you assist me with my phone as I have the same one. I'm having an issue with the phone ringing when calling. No matter what I do the notification ring tone won't stay fixed.
I no longer have this phone, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help there. Sorry about that.
@@44CT232Thank you for your answer.Do you know how to take it off mute so it can ring. Ring notification is on mute and won't switch off to ring.
I bought the same one last week. Good device.
wooooooow and here is BeamNG Suzuki Futura 😁😁👍👍👍👍 Very cool
Indeed. I have the actual vehicle, which is why I decided to make the mod for BeamNG 😁
Yes, that's right. Im here. Thanks. 73

Is it very rare with a soundcard on these computers? I have this computer, but unfortunately without soundcard. Great video, interesting to see it playing music videos
It has an 8-bit ISA slot inside, which the previous owner had installed an 8-bit sound card in. Quite an usual for a 286 laptop.
Many year ago this computer was my dream.
Nice 🙂 It's pretty amazing to think that systems like these were once high-end and highly desirable.
Hahaha brilliant.
Haha. That’s so cool! Ppl like are the reason I watch yt!
Thanks 😊
I'm confused, I have to double check if it's really 2022
Pretty sure it was deliberate. Using a retro camera to record retro hardware ;)
Damn, that keyboard click sounds awesome.
Thanks. Yeah, I love the sound of the Model M and other mechanical keyboards.
Awesome video!
Thanks :)
Berapa om harganya?
1.4 juta. Aku di South Africa.
Om, d ig aku pernah lihat Futura pas jalan² ke Afrika Selatan Mobil oom kah?
Cool video, great music and I liked the use of a MFM drive in a 386 - havent seen that before but I probably would have been a good "budget" option at the time!
Thank you 😊
This is why I love the Muppet bands like 446 and CB!!!😂❤️
Who needs a boss key when you can run Dos on your office telephone XD
Absolutely! :)
not bad! were you able to source the belts locally?
I actually haven't been able to find a local source of new replacement belts, but I keep belts from other devices I've taken apart in the past, so I was able to find a suitable replacement in my stash.
I just picked one of these up for $10 today. Looks like new on the inside and out. Clearly is in need of belts replacement though.
Yeah, mine needed new belts as well. Should work well after replacing them though.
@@44CT232 can you tell the belt size/diameter please? any good source you located and able to advise?
@@lenco5994 I no longer have the deck, as I gave it away to a friend, so I can't check the size, but Amazon does have a complete belt kit for this deck: www.amazon.com/Complete-Belt-Kit-Sanyo-RD-5030/dp/B071YVWPP3
@@44CT232 good for your fd. thanks for the info. cheers
Can I ask where I can find the SSYNTH.MOD file? I do not see it any .MOD archives on the internet.
I found a large archive of mods files a few years back, which is where I got it from. You can find that particular file here though: cd.textfiles.com/soundmod1/music/mod_s/ssynth.mod
@@44CT232 Thank you very much. I plan to make a 286 build and will probably use this music.

Awesome!! Although That old passive matrix lcd is struggling to keep up rest of the machine... ehehe
Thanks! :-) And yeah, that monochrome passive-matrix display definitely doesn't handle motion too well. It did better than I expected though.

Why should you use a MFM harddisk in a sx 386 built if you have better options like scsi or IDE? In that slot you could use a cd-rom instead.
It was what I had at the time. It has since been replaced with an IDE drive.
Great job on the restauration. Thumbs up.
Thanks! :-)
