Can this be used for shower base with hollow base

Well done! You've done a lot to idiot-proof installation except for this idiot. The sliding door actually installs well either direction, you just have to switch some of the hardware around. One of the problems I had was not knowing where to put the final metal rod. I ended up putting right under the sliding glass door. There is still a gap between it and the door so I expect I'll have to do something to keep water from leaking. Also, 75" is above my tile so I installed the rod into the drywall. This created a 1/4" difference on stationary side making installing that glass wall difficult. Fortunately, there is enough leeway in the design to compensate. I was able to mount the brackets close enough to the walls and, by removing the rubber inserts, get them to fit. Probably a bad solution that will put pressure on the glass in the long run. If you make the same mistake I did, I recommend you cut the rod an additional 1/4". The holding screws should still hold the rod and holes in the glass should line up better than they did for me. I ended up with a large gap between the stationary glass wall and the threshold. I tried to fill it in with silicon but am not sure it's completely sealed. I plan on applying more silicon if it's not. The instructions for assembling the door handle are confusing. Only the plastic spacers are discarded. If you discard the plastic and metal washers too (like I did), you won't be able to attach the second handle. Put a metal washer next to the holder (the bulb-looking thing) with a plastic washer next to it, slide it through the hole in the glass with another plastic washer next to the glass and then another metal washer. Screw the assembly into the the first handle. The bulb should then stick out of the hole far enough to install the second side of the handle. Do this for both the top and the bottom sides. Then, attach the second handle and tighten it to the bulbs. Finally, these instructions don't explain what to do with the Aluminum Floor Strip Cap. The paper instruction say to silicon it over the rough and of the Aluminum Floor Strip and as close to the shower wall as possible.

Whoever developed this video deserves an award. Very well done.

IS this reversible? other side?

You need a left-side video, and you should indicate in your description that you don't recommend the sliding door be installed opposite the shower head, so I could have made that decision before making a purchase, all it says is that I can install it either way and now I am stuck with a door that has to be installed backward and it just doesn't look right.

Ok at 3:21 is where home owners will be breaking this piece of glass if you have a thresh hold that is hard tile or granite. When I install panels I use bigger 1/4 spacers lots, get the panel in place and then come in with in this case 1/8 spacers right at the corners of the glass. The corner of the glass is its weakest spot if you tap the tile or ultra hard surface it will bust the glass into a million pieces. So extreme care is needed.....your welcome Glass Warehouse

Can you install without backing behind the wall anchors? I have 1/2 inch travertine, 1/4 inch thinset, 1/2 inch float, 1/2 inch drywall. So only 1/4 inch max is gonna grab into the stud behind the wall? Are the green anchors enough?

How do you adjust for door sweep to be installed ? The bottom of door is too tight to install. That's after installing the clips at 8" & 70" based on instructions. The door sweep is too close to tile to install!

Do the hinges fit fully into the "ear" shaped cutouts for safety?

why don't they put sealant in the holes where the brackets are installed in the tile?

Hello! I have a question about Model #GW-WH-32-BN sold at Lowes. " Is it 1 or 2 pieces for such a small 32 3/8" opening? If it is 2, how wide will the actual door be? Do you sell a 1-piece frameless? Will the model listed work for my shower if the tiles in which the hinges will be mounted are out of plumb/unlevel by 1/16" & 1/8"? Thanks!

Only silicone the outside of the glass. You don't seal both sides. If water finds a way to get in there, it's a perfect place for mold to start growing. Only seal the outside.

My shower head is on the left side as you look at it. We want to enter from the right side of the shower. If we enter from the left like the instructions the commode will be in the way. Is it possible to switch sides without creating that seem between the doors so water will escape from?

I just received your 78" version... preparing to install now. 2 Questions: 1) Do you suggest or recommend a particular sealant? One video suggested the Lawrence Water Clear Silicone, which is currently ~$80 per tube. 2) What is the spray indicating as applied just after the silicone bead is run?

Can you put the stationary panel next to the shower head, and the moving panel (door) on the other side sliding on the OUTSIDE of the shower (away from the shower head)? This would still keep spray from the showerhead from getting between the panels.

How do you escape from this shower? The only handle is on the exterior!
