I love the fact that while most of the soldiers there were scared, but there was the one guy who just screamed out "fuck you!!" at the storm, funny as hell. Also, the sound of the tornado itself, just the pure roar of it, it's just insane. Rest in peace to the 21 who's lives were cut short that fateful day...

This video scared the shit out of me and sparked my interest for tornadoes when I was a little kid. Living in Europe tornados seems so scary and at the same time so fascinating and surreal. Have not seen this video for about 20 years now. Found the place on Google Earth. Seems like the building they filmes from have been demolished.

This was the same storm system that hit DFW airport. My Dad's airplane took off minutes before the storm hit. Scary times.
