Just a small little channel where I upload stuff that I found fun to do in random games. This is just a for-fun hobby.
GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM - Boss Fight: Deichgraf Tier 8 (Level 40 Units/Weapons)
After much testing of stuff, and building up Sharkry to be an additional carry for one of the sides, I was able to do a Level 40 clear on Deichgraf at Tier 8 on Boss Fight. Nice!
Much as with the last run at Tier 7, most of this fight is predicated and optimized on a few key units (for Level 40 obviously):
- Suomi/Makiatto are hard-carrying Deichgraf-Sand in Phase 2.
- Qiongjiu (again) for her stupid amounts of damage for Phase 1
- Sharkry for damage in general. Ksenia is a must with Sharkry to get those Overburns proccing.
My weapons are significantly more optimized from the Tier 7 run, and Makiatto now has her sig weapon.

Two-turn kill on the Event Challenge Boss for Rhapsody Quartet. This took a bit of labing to figure out the speed-kill. I was initially trying to do it without Suomi but Avalanche is way too good for the break to cancel the heal on Turn 1. Tololo, who I don't have, would also be way better than my budget Sharkry Ksenia combo. Fun to figure out either way!

Quick and dirty kill of the Event Challenge Boss for Rhapsody Quartet. This is the "simple" 3-turn clear that you can use a bunch of units to do, and gets infinitely easier with Tololo,Makiatto, and Suomi. Here, I went for a theme clear with freemium-ish units and weapons Makiatto. For thematic purposes I used both Idol Dolls. This run is optimized to need no healing.

Trying to see how far I can push a Level 40 team on clearing content, hah. As with other videos, a lot of this is carried by Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Makiatto. This is definitely not f2p friendly in a sense (even though I haven't spent much of anything, lol) since it needs a lot of powerful units/luck on gacha.

Boss Fight Deichgraf at Tier 7 difficulty. This run is valid for Tier 6 as well as the mechanics/sequence are identical, just a stat bump from Tier 6 to 7. Another re-run fight for Mane's Bulletin with some different buffs. This time in the Haunted Highway event, and what an easy run this was. Between the AI changes for Mercuria, the different buffs, and all that jazz this run ends up easily hitting over a million. I tried a few times and the result was the same across the those runs with one run getting 1.2M even. Pretty easy auto.

Same as the 2-turn run but playing it safe (with Lotta instead of Ksenia). This was actually the first idea I had before realizing you could 2-turn the boss. So this is actually the first run! Then I brainstormed the 2-turn which was way more interesting to me to puzzle out. Hehe.

I wanted to see if I could clear this in two turns while still a good 4-6 levels below the boss/stage level. Turns out you can! The whole fight is almost entirely just down to a stat check for Ksenia, Qiongjiu, and Nagant. In this fight even Suomi who is usually the OP MVP is mostly just here to :D and not much else. I wanted to see if I could beat this with basically the units as they were almost right after unlocking events in GFL2. Full auto of the third and final of the Floor It! To the Golden City event raids. This is another (!!!) RNG nightmare this time based on boss buffs. Mercuria is used as my sole (I think?) dispeller to help manage the stacked up buffs. This was actually my best run of five. Two succeeded, three failed though even the fails got around 700k.

Qiongjiu really is key here, that's a lot of damage from her alone. unfortunately, I'm still Qiongjiu-less.
Her and Makiatto. Suomi as well for simplifying the survival part of Sand side.
my ksenia seems to always die even when i carefully place her, oh and also the boss had a movement debuff but still can launch the freaking combo (got annihilated cause of that) any idea why ?
If he has a movement debuff, I assume from Groza?, he should only be able to move one spot so as long as no one is in adjacent rows/columns to him he shouldn't be able to do the combo. As for Ksenia, check HP/Def of yours vs. mine.

She's a crazy unit, and they really need to rerun her a ton because of how important she is to accounts early on. Eventually you get other healers who can do a lot but Suomi does a ton as one unit.

What I find interesting is that none of ur units died even at lv40 and no healer / shields. I need to keep on trying.
Well if you look at Phase 1, Ksenia survives with like 10 HP. Also she's a healer, she heals twice.

You don't lose a ticket if you don't clear. If you quit, you get the ticket back. I couldn't get this to work under 25, units are just too squishy lol.

I don't have a troop with decent cleansing. Tried 10 times. Rest is good enough. Last enemy always impossible because each of my troops has 6 stacks of poison

I kept trying and holy shit was it obnoxious to keep retrying for the best rng and optimal setup but eventually I was able to do it. I'd hate to imagine how this would've felt if I didn't pull Tooth Fairy to cleanse.
How did you do this? My chars are insight 2 lv 50 and I can't get it done. Is the campsite important? I have all the upgrades to 4, but I can't even clear the critter fights to get wood and max it.
My campsite is not fully upgraded, it's 4/4/5 (Bulletin/Cabin/Storage). The main thing for me came down to timing the heals/cleanse from Tooth Fairy. Her ult cleanses all debuffs which helps with the Pollution stacking. This is what makes or breaks a run, because Pollution just starts completely wrecking my team otherwise if it stacks up too much. Also I do have a bit more stats since mine are all Level 1 Insight 3. I also tried with Lilya over Bkorn but I found that Bkorn's silence on Ult was much more useful to have in the pocket. Additionally, my units are all Resonance level 5, for reference, since Resonance level doesn't show up in the team menu.

@@MMDAQ Ye but it has high crit rate as a base (30% added crit rate), and you can use her Debuff/Confusion to have the highest probability of success as it also puts on an additional -25% crit resist to the boss. My Tooth's stats are here: tinyurl.com/usak7h2s

Which move is this? Corrosion? That is countered with enough healing to cancel the corrosion.
