Far too many people make this simple mistake when they mulch their trees. Here's the right way to mulch your trees so that they grow up happy and healthy.
This video alone has earned a subscription. Keep 'em coming! Much like a lot of other UA-camrs, you should probably quit your day job and go full-time. ;)
Thanks Tim. I'm glad you enjoyed the video but for about 3 weeks a huge part of my day job was helping to make this pond! So many hours in the skid steer. So I better not quit just yet..
What will live in the pond? That's a big pond.
The Loch Ness monster, hopefully
@@gardenstatewny I was thinking otters and fish but this works too. Would be a cool gator pond.
New subscriber here! Beautiful garden!
Hey Patricia, welcome! Glad that you like the garden, Mary Carol works really hard on it.
Thank you for posting this interview. This is a lush and tidy garden. What is that little shed in the background used for that has been raised up several feet off the ground?
Hey, thanks for the great question 👍 we call that the She Shed. It's a timber frame shed with a cool table inside and storage space for all of Mary Carol's gardening tools. Plus a cute little porch on the front. If you follow our channel I'm going to post a video about it within the next month or two, including the design process, build out, interior shots, etc.
Or maybe you were talking about the water tower that's in the background? That's an old timey water tower my dad built. There's a 500 gallon tank up there that we can fill from the local creek. The tank is connected to a hose in the garden for watering. Again, I'm going to do an interview about it soon.
@@gardenstatewny I think I am asking about the water tower. It's off the ground with a black door, and there is a much smaller black box raised up on a pole nearby. I will watch your future videos to learn about all of the structures. Thank you.
@@NCC-so2bz Cool, glad to have you as a subscriber. Yep, that's the water tower. I'll be putting up a video about it within the next month.
Nice gravel!, I had to build a 4" grizzly to get workable material.
Hey, whatever works! I had to look up a grizzly, wasn't familiar with the term. Did you weld it?
@@gardenstatewny yes sir. I bought a flux core welder and just booger welded it together. There are a few short videos of it in action on my YT page.

@@dtrlfilms Epic, I'll check those out. I'm in the market for a welder atm so I'm interested to see what you're doing.
@@gardenstatewny I mostly pickup scrap steel at local farm auctions and weld up whatever contraption I need. Next up on my dream list is a jaw crusher.
