Old vid but just come across it. Do you still have these clutch tools?
Yes, please contact the email in the description.
I would like to do an 869 setup. How was the lifespan of this engine? Do you have any advice?
After reading your threads on Grizzly Central I've started ordering the parts to do the same to mine, How is it holding up after all these years?
Why Doesn't this have more views???
great video only wrong i found it's never use a torque wrench to loose a nut or bolt can be damages the calibration. torque wrenches are to tighten and torque ONLY
This is a myth. Many torque wrenches work both ways. If you set your wrench beyond what your breaking free, it is never a problem. Also if your wrench is only for right hand thread, feel free to break nuts free as it is locked and no calibration to worry about in that direction. Appreciate the concern and thanks for watching the video.
@@loudelectronics thanks to respond my opinion but never listen a torque wrench can torque any direction I own Mac, Matco Snap on and craftsman maybe if I can order a left thread torquing but they going to torque only one direction left i'm going to check with Snap on to see if can i get a dual direction one thanks
Every torque wrench I own torque both ways. They are very common. Very handy when you have threads that go both ways.
That's what impact drivers are for.
For sure. Over tight then over loose. Most people using an impact do not torque them down enough though and then the clutches come apart at speed or belts get shredded. Cheap insurance for maintaining a long life and reliability of your clutches.
I need too know how I can buy me one of these three piece clutch holder tool seats; I need it bad right now to finish working on my Yamaha
Hi Wesley, if you email gffsnorkels@outlook.com, he is fast on the email replies and will answer all your questions.
Where do I find this 869 kit?
Anthony it is all custom stuff. I build custom race motors for my applications.
@@loudelectronics I found a 795 kit on eBay and also found the 815 kit. What would I recommend? I'm looking to make around 60-80hp and still be decent in the reliability department. Will be used as a mud/trail bike.
@@251suzuki I would do an 804 in this case. This will give great useable torque with great wheel speed. You will be able to water skim with 30's and still be able to control it in corners on trails. 815 has been a slug for me. Have not been able to get the power out of it. Seems like the magic builds for the grizzly have been the 734, 780, 804, 834 and if you want something that is exciting, expensive, not going to last very long but rip your arms off, flip over backwards with the touch of gas, the 869 or 880. If in Canada I can help out. In the states you can talk to John Dyer at Racers edge AZ. Geisick performance and Eric and EHS.
@@loudelectronics I'm in the states, how much and where can I find the 804 kit? I can find the 795 kit and 734 kit on eBay all day long for around $1100-1200. You didn't mention the 795 kit so is that something new?
@@251suzuki the 795 will have very thin cylinder walls I would think. The 105.5 and 108mm cylinders are proven reliable. I have not used a 106.5 to say how it will turn out. The 804 requires a 105.5 top end and a 8 mm stroked crank. The piston is custom so it is not on eBay and need to come from a shop like I mentioned before. These shops can also work your crank for the kit. Don't skimp on this. Do it right or do it twice. The cheap kits are enticing but come with risk that gets costly and the lack of expected performance makes you cry. You also need all supporting mods like backers dual exhaust, Weller diff plate, head work, tb bore, fuel injector, tune, etc
How do I order these tools
they only make duals now for this bike specifically because of the heat. these machines produce way too much heat to dissipate from a single muffler according to Barker. they also now come with heat shield tape for the plastics in the kit. up to 10hp gains. thats a shit ton
Nice.is it any plastic to change in the secondary clutch?
Nope. These are not Polaris. All metal for reliability.
@@tristandietrich1386 ok thanx.my old yamaha snowmobile has plastic buschings in secondary..im in to buy an grizzly now
where can i get a rester tool
I need a set. How do I order them? Thank you!
How can I buy these tools I tried emailing u but it won’t work
Send me an email tcdietrich@outlook
I recently purchased these tools for my 08 Kodiak 450. The tools arrived on time and were excellent quality. The customer service was extremely professional. I strongly recommend this product. Thank you again.
Is there a website I can order these throw. Or this all throw emails.
Any links to buy the set ??
Please check the details of the video. Everything you need.
THESE NUTS!!
Do you sell these tools..
I do not. I provided the email in the details for the person that sells them.
Thank You for the response..
@@loudelectronics can u help me out I tried to email your buddy but says it won’t work I’m really interested in the tools
Where could i buy these tools at
Christopher please see info in video details. Use the email provided and he will het back to you promptly.
I made a tool similar to a fan clutch wrench that goes into two opposing holes on the clutches cam plate. Works slick. Yours works well too looks like
How many people have stripped out the clutch shaft threads?
It will happen if you don't torque nut down to spec. Or are using a non hardened shim.
Are these 3 tools still available to purchase? If so how/where? Thanks Mike
Yes they are. Please see video description. Feel free to email him for questions and ordering.
@@loudelectronics thankyou 👍
Now that's doing the job right....There,s another clown on here that's got his shit on the floor beating on it and everything else...Smh..
That is how gffs does it!
I need that tool...
Are still running the WCD ?
Tony, no it is on the shelf for another day. The reliability is just not there.
K I want one how much ?
Please email gff for current pricing. Email is below video. I do not sell these. Just hosting video.
I emailed you about a set
It's actually not me that sells these. Buddy of mine does. It's his video. He will get back to you I am certain.
Are these still available?
@Gardnermcneil yes he still sells them.
i emailed you about the tools
Awesome!
Has your battery failed yet? Mine failed at the 1 year mark (2 year warranty) and they wouldn't honor the warranty. I've read other very negative reviews of these batteries and since you posted this in 2013, I'm curious how long yours lasted.
I have had pretty good luck with the batteries overall. Had one over discharge and in the process of resetting it, the battery failed and swelled. The one in this sled is now in my current sidewinder in 2019. Started at -36 yesterday.
Emailed you for a set of your tools!!
Is this the bbk grizz you had or just a stock motor grizz? cool vid!
Dash 11 this is a mild bbk. It is a 734, 10.75:1 piston, 1.5+ valves, x2 cam. Withe the JBS clutching it is the fastest 734 we have built to date. All the right pieces. Faster than our 770 even with 12.5:1 compression.
@@loudelectronics Thats sweet! How do you guys make the wet clutch last?
Yamaha lube or amsoil on every change. No issues with wet clutch. Even on the 869. Make sure to use correct oil and be clutched for the tires. Jbs has some good setups. In this build we use jbs and overdrive weights.
@@loudelectronics Good to know! I will be selling my renegade and want to do up a grizzly (2008-2015) a little bit. Might have to get a hold of you when I do! keep up the vids, a walk around of the bike would be cool.
They are a fun bike to do up. Light weight and easy to throw around. I was much faster on the grizzly than I was on my gade. I would recommend 2014 with the longer arms and shocks. That is what we are running on this 07.
Where do I buy this?.
Gffsnorkels@outlook.com
don't know if you still check this but I sent you a email, looking to see if still have clutch holding tools available.
Does it work on a yamaha kodiak 700...
rick ramirez yes it does.
Which derby is this? looks like a fun time
shaker650 I actually cannot remember. It was OK. Lots of gravel roads though.
been awhile since you shared a video. nice to see one again
I 2nd that! Nice to see the big grizz out!
How much are these and will you ship to Alaska?
david cook yes he ships world wide. I think they are $135 CDN.
Great video! Well done, a true thinking mans man..Do you offer a set for the 600 or the 660?
Good luck Tristan! Show em what you got!
Is this in Manitoba ?
jacob holinaty yes this is.
Awesome I'll be there tomorrow on my bike!
As soon as I saw the torque wrench being used to undo the nuts I started shakin me head!
trialnterror just an FYI a torque wrench can be used to loosen if it ratchets both ways and torque setting is higher than torque of the nut.
loudelectronics What ever makes you feel better buddie!
its true, modern torque wrenches can be used in both directions, they are designed to torque right and left hand threads. what ruins calibration is not setting it back to zero for storage.
Jason Morehouse this is true
Where can I find these tools for Suzuki kingquad 750s????
How is this 869cc kit called?
Жора Суслов not sure I understand? It is the 869cc kit. These are bad vids. By the time I was done with it it was faster than the gade by large margin. My 804 that I am running is about equal to the gade now.
thank you)
Try racing on a black top road
Jamal Bell no comparison at that point.
Wow! Fantastic video! That sled sounds great!
dam that looks amazing out there
hello give me the lick to buy the tools plzz thank you
