I have the 2011 550i with the 2 connectors. My car came default with shaft paddles I installed the type of airbag you have but I have airbag errors. I am quite handy and I have Protool and ISTA-P. Is there a work around or I have to yank off the retrofit wheel?

i have one of these, but the touring model, please do be careful these have a 2 litre turbo diesel and belive me it will gift wrap your sister round the nearest tree if she tries to push it too far. take it from me as i have almost ended up in this situation. if shes the type to speed thats one thing but being able to control the car under such speed and conditions is another thing, the one thing i have to say is make her promise you wont need to go say goodbye to her in a wooden box

Hows the piano black holding up? Does it scratch easy like piano black plastic from manufacturers or is it more durable?

For anyone trying to do this install, I viewed another video for the same type of screen install. That guy used a utility knife to cut outer leather top and the foam. For the hard plastic surface below he used a soldering iron tool which allowed for a clean cut.

Have you not got any problem with the front rubbing I got new wheels for my e90 with 245/45/18 and it touches my front suspension

I dont see anything e39 or e46 here other than the knob looking the same but the dash and everything else looks e90
