Really enjoyed this video, great commentary and references. I think looking for the strangest title in long running game series could be a great niche to dive into. I remember the first time playing RE:CVX was at my cousins and we totally got soft locked on the Tyrant in the plane fight. Also do they ever explain the tentacle? I always assumed it was Alexia's in their transformed state?

God every time Steve talks it basically ruins the atmosphere. A semi serious scene feels like a parody abridged series. Claire is too good for him.

Code Veronica is a very conventional RE game. It’s fantastic, to be sure, but it definitely isn’t “weird” compared to other titles that came before it. All the primary game mechanics from earlier games in the series are present here: 3rd person perspective, tank controls, inventory management, combat, switching characters, boss fights - all very familiar. The main difference was the audio and visual quality enhancements granted by the Dreamcast’s improved hardware. The soundtrack is amazing, and the game world is fully rendered in 3D. Other than that, it’s not much different from the earlier games.

We wasted a good 10+ minutes to have tech support fix it, so we kinda had to speedrun the rest of it, and that seemed to be the biggest problem for all the panelists for this year's Matsuricon. Still, your cringe era panel was a fun riot! I'd love to see it again next year!

Honestly this was favorite panel of Youmacon 2023 and definitely was a highlight of the con too. In addition, I'm surprised that made a cameo at 1:26:24 with my Suguru Geto cosplay with the blue string bag. Lastly, I don't know if you'll attend Youmacon again next year but between me and my friends who attend Youmacon you're definitely our favorite panelist there. :)

I got my Mihane the other day, but I have yet to open the actual figure box. I forgot that I clicked on the vid because she was on it, so I saw the outer cardboard box and thought, 'Wait... That looks familiar...' Then I looked beside me as the inner box began sliding out and remembered. The bonus I got for her is the "situation voice" on its own. I did not want the wall scroll. I'm... assuming that is what the QR code on the card leads to? Alas, I will not understand any of the Japanese that the voice will undoubtedly say, so I wonder if I would ever find a post or video explaining anything.

Im really not sure if ths figure really worth the price for me. the box is kinda let down and the figure is looking good but there is something is missing, the lack of gimmick? im really not sure that is something is missing on this figure.
