Summer of 1976 - just turned eleven. Top 40 radio was magical..........
Dear Casey every Sunday in Belgium on AFN Benelux, wonderful seventies with your voice
I'm happy you found this video. 1996 was an amazing year for the Devils. Although the college football landscape has changed significantly, Im typing this in 2024 with the Devils just finishing a 10-2 reg season and heading into the Big 12 Championship game. Regardless of the outcome, this will be another year worth documenting in a video recap, for sure. Let's go Sun Devils!
Rip pat Tillman I love this even as Auburn fan
Thank you so very much for uploading this to YT. I still have it on VHS, but alas, I no longer have a VCR. 96-97 was my (first) senior year at ASU 🤣, I had an internship at the local Phoenix Sports Radio station, & my girlfriend was a cheerleader who performed during the games & traveled with the band to some away games, including Pasadena (both vs UCLA & OSU). Of course, the last couple minutes of the season broke my heart. But the season as a whole is still, to this very day - some 28 years later, the craziest, most magical & unforgettable sports season I’ve ever witnessed. And I’ve seen my share over 50 years. And actually, a few years later (around ‘00), I had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside a man who played a big part in this video. To longtime Arizona sports fans, he’a simply remembered as “The Voice.” But, thanks to my job, I had the privilege to get to know Tom Dillon. And whether it was during his years as the play-by-play announcer for the Cardinals, or his career as the voice of Arizona State University sports, there was certainly no better voice to narrate the soundtrack to such a magical season from such a special team. Anyway, thanks again for uploading this video. It brings back such wonderful memories. Go Devis!
My step dad listens to the classic rock station where I live, and they regularly play old segments with casey
Favorite: "Torn Between Two Lovers" 💖

Wow! I remember this one. I had it on tape. There's just one thing: Someone did some editing because my original has "Shake, Shake; Shake (Shake Your Booty")" five times.
The year shit hit the fan
Sound & Soul. Great!!
Great times indeed! Thank you for my childhood❤
LOVE this song❤
This music reminds me of my late mother, and all the great memories as we had while driving in the car. This was when music was great! Casey Casey mocks.

Way too much disco music
That's because it's the disco era!
What a time to be a teenager ready to graduate h.s. and begin that first year of college! It goes without saying the best music ever was in the 70's! If only it all didn't pass by so quickly!!

lol damn wish i grew up watching these Sun Devils
Yeah, it was a ton of fun for sure! I'll always remember how electric the stadium was, being there for the Nebraska and USC games.
Still the one-Orleans shoulda been a #1,as well as Year of the Cat-Al Stewart.
I was 4 years young and had no ideal all of this fun and greatness was going on!
"Doo Run Run" and "You Light Up My Life" are the worst ones here
Leo Sayer?
Torn between Two Lovers one of the worst boomer songs ever
1976 way better
RIP Casey Kasem great DJ American 🇺🇸 Icon.! 😢🔔
"I Write the Songs" "Disco Duck" "If You Leave Me Now" were the worst ones on the list. "Saturday Night" intro is catchy and has a good buildup but the rest of the song is lame. "Convoy" is pretty bad as well but at least has a bit of a kitsch vibe
Eagles muted 😼
Remembering another radio influenced.. RIP my radio friend.. CASEY KASEM.. Kemal Amin "Casey" Kasem (April 27, 1932 - June 15, 2014)
