That's an old ship !!

The training arm of my company Applied Building Conservation training held training courses on these buildings with the local Prisoners a few years back ,we taught the guys how to use the appropriate materials such as lime mortars etc , in the process we saved several of the buildings from falling into dis repair.

Back in the 60s those ''leaning trees''' grew all the way from Greenough to Dongara. We travelled from Mullewa to the Greenough mouth and caught many crays on the reefs there, bringing fresh bread from Geraldton, after the pubs shut! We had our pots and cooking gear stashed in the sandhills there. Ah, the good old days!!!
