Have you considered that Jesus is preaching eye for eye Law here to Jews who are trying to be justified by their obedience. He is not speaking to born again Christians. While the instructions to forgive would apply to all men, the warning that you won't be forgiven if you don't, only applies to people under the Law who are seeking to be justified by it. Otherwise, seems you have salvation that is based on your ability to refrain from a particular sin.

So, if someone believes, confesses, asks for forgiveness, they will be forgiven, except if one of the sins they committed is unforgiveness, then God won't honor their faith. That's what the verse is implying. Do you agree?

Thank you so much fo this video. It is very, very good. I totally agree with you: Chasing after propehts is dangerous. Stories not edifying the knowlegde of Gods word and not primaryli Glorifying God Himself are warning sings. Personal prayer life including biblestudies and decirning is very, very importent.... except! When we read the bible it is clear, that God does send prophets. How I wish you would make another vidoe with all the same teaching, just also tell: What is a real prophet? It is not that difficult. God sends prophets throughout the bible when ever the teachings and the worship goes suer. Therefore messages in all from a real prophet will always contain some sort of warning about consequences of the curent wrong, some sort of call to repent, change, renew etc and some sort of promis from God to emphasize who He is - and of course all in line with the Scripture.
