Camas is incestuous community. 60 years of generations a drug use. Then money Moves In on the hill. Then you go and you shop downtown Camas while shop owners tell you how much stay can't stand Californians. If it wasn't for Californians moving into Camas Camas would still be known as a place you come to get methamphetamine heroin and I suppose if you want to sleep in the woods that's where people come people live at the skatepark all along the Washougal River creeping Out of the Woods up into the neighborhoods by Safeway. The whole area so shady it's not family-friendly not even in the slightest. Downtown Camas is a major disappointment and since maybe some of those rich people on the hill will get off their butt and actually go downtown instead of complaining about what I'm complaining about and then maybe the community would recognize that they need to get off the hill and act like rich people and support their local business Community instead of complaining about it and the people who are there contributing to it. Camas is nothing but a Shakedown community who coddle is Junkies. I was there literally punched in the face by Junkie in front of a police officer an officer said he graced you he's crazy and I said sorry I would have never walked up to you if I would have realized he was going to punch me in the face. I communicate with the police if I see them on the street when I ride and skate because I respect them and I expect them to respect me but my experience with them hasn't been Mutual. and I don't give a s*** cuz they are police I don't know what their job is. All I know Camas has a lot to learn when it comes to people moving in. The incestual people in Oaks Park and the downtown community is ruining and stunting the growth of Camas. Clean up those communities in Camas will have a thriving business community and equal opportunity

#8cantwait is a stupid idea. Cops are not some puppies that need you to lector them. What they need is training and the tools to do what they need to do and that is to remove criminals from the street. Yeah sometimes the need to use violence but you can't win the war on crime without spilling some blood. So now that some police stations are getting fewer dollars to spend on much-needed training you will see more undertrained cops on the street. So aim your arrows at the politicians and demand money to train your cops better.

Two wonderful and tireless supporters of our Downtown...Camas' true Legacy Lands!

In this interesting time of virtual meetings I hope this can be considered as a public comment on the proposal to approve these purchases. I absolutely support their acquisition. I have significant concern, however, in the public graphics supporting acquisition. The slides infer the City of Camas would approve subdivisions as depicted showing nearly every square foot of land part of a residential lot and building. Never mind trees and a watercourse (that somehow disappears beneath the subdivision). This in a city where people wonder if they can fell a dead tree on their property that is threatening a structure. Yet these subdivisions would be approved as depicted despite the sensitive lands draining into a ecologically signifiant lake used for recreation! I'm not questioning the appraisal. For all I know the value of this property for a handful of large estates, still closed off to the public, supports the appraisal. I do know depicting the result of a lengthy public development review as a "done deal" is not appropriate. This is especially the case when landowners involved are presently seeking approval of a sub-area plan that would formalize similar significant development on less sensitive land. Is this depiction a "wink and nod" that the City of Camas presupposes approval of exactly what a developer would submit? The inference is there. I would request this be considered a public comment for this agenda item. I would further request the City Attorney answer the following questions, "Does the depiction of development, specifically subdivision, in any manner imply or prejudge what the full City review of a development submittal would result in?" Further, does depiction of these potential developments in any manner imply the City of Camas supports and considers approvable further development proposals on adjacent properties within the North Shore sub-area plan still going through a public planning process, let alone development review? Finally, if subdivision of this land was considered feasible and achievable, where do the road and services (water and sewage) come from and does it require expenditure of any public money to make this development possible? Again I support the acquisition, but believe the justification for them cannot be circumvention of a public planning process,
