My friend has been recently going through a trails series adventure playing all titles chronologically. trials of cold steel is one of the most mid games i have ever played. from the most generic character designs, to combat that literally never challenges you. Its just a complete slog. Worst part is the school stuff.. They really wanted to make a persona clone but failed to make it interesting in any way..
