Better Call Saul is the BEST Spinoff Ever
Переглядів 1,8 тис.Рік тому
Better Call Saul is a spinoff to Breaking Bad, acting as both a prequel and as a sequel in terms of the Saul Goodman story. The show ran for 6 seasons and followed Jimmy McGill, later known as Saul Goodman, as he traverses New Mexico's legal landscape. Several characters from Breaking Bad appear in the show as well as some completely original characters too. This video tells you why you should ...

Stranger Things & The Boys: UNDERWHELMING Season Finales
Переглядів 3852 роки тому
Stranger Things season 4 and The Boys season 3 both just came to an end. Despite both shows having incredible buildup through the season, the finales were both underwhelming because they promised so much, and instead of delivering on those promises, they focused on setting up for their next seasons. 0:00 intro 0:26 Stranger Things 10:29 The Boys

Why You NEED to Watch Barry
Переглядів 29 тис.2 роки тому
Barry is an HBO show that has somewhat flown under the radar, but it has been picking up steam thanks to the release of its third season. It's a show about Barry Berkman, who wants to become an actor instead of the hitman that he already is. Here's why you need to watch it.
Star Wars is Turning into the MCU
Переглядів 2422 роки тому
Disney has owned Marvel Studios/Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and Star Wars (Lucasfilm) for many years now. But as the MCU continues to grow and the Star Wars Universe gradually expands, are they becoming too similar? In this video, I breakdown the issues that I see with the way the MCU is heading, as well as how recent Star Wars content seems to pointing in a similar direction.

    You’re right about how lovable Kim is - a character who stands shoulder to shoulder with Walter White and Jimmy “Saul Goodman” McGill in the pantheon of television’s greatest. Nacho and Lalo were also pleasant surprises. Great video. You will go far… and I’m subscribed for the journey.

    Great commentary about the movie. I didn't care for the movie at all, but I appreciate the analysis. However, sometimes you watch a movie to be entertained, not to analyze and think about EVERY possible angle to connect the dots.

    Jupe had his E.T moment with Gordy and saw the shoe as some sort of sign of a miracle but it was just luck so when he reenacts his trauma on his ranch it turns out very different for him. Em gets her shots at the end but you can see that she is not as concerned with looking at the photos as she is seeing her and her brother survive when the dust clears showing that she has learned her lesson not to be apart of the spectacle. Also if anyone's ever seen the anime neon genesis evangelion, the creature may remind you of one of the angels.

    It's good, but I have a counterpoint. The show better call saul is a spinoff of (slippin jimmy) also created breaking bald, a show where a chemistry teacher cooks some cake in an easy bake oven after losing his hair. This then led to breaking bad, a parody of the show that somehow is revered as being as good as better call saul. But both will fail when in sight of the ultimate spinoff Better fuel huell

      @@raymondsims7042 I've heard that a lot, unfortunately I've never watched the show as the streaming service it is on in Australia has adds. @@levipeterken4020 ahh man forget about the adds!! Go watch it seriously it’s brilliant on every level. While I do love bcs I actually don’t think it’s even in the same class as the wire. That’s how high I view the wire. The wire sits at its own table as the best show ever.

    • @levipeterken4020
      @levipeterken4020 10 місяців тому

      @@raymondsims7042 Well hopefully I hold it to the same regard when I watch it. Surprises me so many people rave about it when they also mention the first season takes a bit to get going and the second one is the weakest, but I suppose that's not too dissimilar to Breaking Bad. The premise about criminals and the police in a city seems pretty tropey/samey from an outside point of view, but I'm sure I'll like it once I watch it.

    • @raymondsims7042
      @raymondsims7042 10 місяців тому

      @@levipeterken4020 mate you watch your tongue talking about the wire. Just watch the show man it’s phenomenal and there’s nothing “tropey”(which isn’t a word btw) about it. Also if you love bcs which is way slower imo than the wire you’ll love the wire. Also the wire is not some run of the mill “cop show” or even criminal show it’s a deep and throughly executed analysis of an entire city (each part/character of the city is equally focused on) The show is just brilliant man. Seriously I’m not just speaking about it for no reason I’ve seen so many incredible shows the wire is by far the best show I’ve ever seen. I actually kind of find it insulting to David Simon and his writers that people would even put another show on the same level as the wire. I’m not even exaggerating

    You're definitely right, cause when I saw that scene of Gordy attacking, I was scared and anxious on the bat. Even MORE so when Gordy looked at the camera (Jupe), it made me want to look AWAY cause I feel threatened even though watching him previously kill and destroy was a spectacle itself. Even when we and Jupe noticed how the shoe stood upright as a "Bad Miracle", it was confusing, astounding and what saved his life even though he didn't realize it all those years.
