ARFF Training, Striker dry chemical valve exercise
We found that we had a seized valve during our annual dry chemical testing. So the fix is now to put the system at atmosphere and action the valves to inspect for function.

Today we went to our local maintenance facility to take a look at a 737 700 torn apart for a 15 year check. We made a quick video of us opening the over wing exit. Make sure you have your knee out to block the door, because its spring loaded and would knock your mask off if your not paying attention. Good luck

This is a quick video of the water flow test meter that we made from a T2 Sensus Municipal meter. I wanted to make the video for our crews so we can watch it before annual testing to remember how to use it. Take care Cody

We tried the three different hose loads and we found that this was the easiest and cleanest load for this model of Striker.

This is another tool that could help you getting a patient off the aircraft quickly. The transfer boards are: 44" X 16" X 1/2" 22" X 16" X 1/2" The webbing we carry is: 2m, 3m, 4m, & 6m Good luck
What about closing it from the outside? How is that process
It’s super easy, just push it back down and it clicks in place.
@@airportfirerescue3021 what about with that little door?. Does the door need to be latched on before the door can close?

Sorry for the late response, we just went to a local place called Kelowna Industrial plastics and got them made up.
