Headphones recommended. I'm still figuring out the best way to balance the bass and the track. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with this video

Mario Kart 8 Bass Intro Tutorial [Not a joke this time!]
That was nice
Pretty good for your first walk cycle. I could never do something that good.
Wow! That is a very nice bass tone :D
Ain't that a cute little gun?
Very well played and nice bass sound my friend!!
Thank you!
Atta kid!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nailed it!!!
thanks.
Awesome work guys I’m bass player I know the work it took to play awsome
bro its so hard lol. but thank you for the real tutorial
That is the most sexual slap bass attack I have ever seen. I love it.
Thanks for the bass cover. Nice job! I'm sure you know that Reese's is using this song in a Halloween candy TV commercial. That's what made me search the Tube for the name of the group.
The Bass said 🐮🐮🐮
tabs?
Great Cover!, Do you have the TAB?
Супер!
tab or sheet music?
Unfortunately I don't have either of those. I just learned it by ear.
I still think you should put the tabs or something at the bottom of the screen but otherwise good tutorial
If you're looking for tabs: ua-cam.com/video/J0mO_oLTxLA/v-deo.html I'm pretty sure this guy plays it differently than me but it's kinda close.
Wow Simon! I saw this song on Scott's account with Andrew Gouche, and I think that this is where you got it from, but your energy matches this song really well! I love it, and always when I hear this song, I think that it's to difficult to play, but when I see you play it, it really makes me wanna pick up my bass and play! Your tone is really nice, especially the tone difference between finger plucking and slap. I Use flatwounds on my p-bass, (I think you use roundwounds?), but your tone with those rounds is almost as nice as my flats, but I can't slap with it haha. Those slaps are on point tho! I wish I could control my playing just as you are. Amazing, keep it up Simon!
Thank you! And yeah those are roundwounds. I don't change them often, in fact I think I have the same exact strings on my bass still today so they're not super bright anymore. I bet you get a nice motown sound with your rounds though! I've been thinking about going full Jamerson and getting myself some
So cool!! All the basslines for this game's OST are so good
1:15 my most favorite part holy moly adore it

Nicely done :)
😋

Really short and sweet! Some tips for the future though! Turn down the bloom by going into the Camera’s settings, and just ticking it lower; its super intense. Next play with the FOV, also found in the Camera setting. Here its not as bad, but if your FOV is the absolute same over and over each shot can get boring to look at. (I try to use a FOV of 35.) Lastly, play with lights! Again, not bad, but doing some volumetrics from the sun’s direction, and a rim light would help make the shot more visually interesting! Hope this helps in your future animations friend!
Thanks for the tips! I haven't touched SFM in a long time, but it is nice to know that if I went back I've got a cool community with people like you who are helpful and know a bunch. I always was bothered by the bloom being the way it was; I just didn't know what the name of the setting. So thank you! I'll have to keep all this in mind
@@SimonD.PDXBass yeah, so to get into the camera settings, you just right click, like you're adding a model, and hit "create object from existing element" (or something like that, its just kinda muscle memory for me now), and you'll see the settings when you click on the new camera object. PS: if you want to fly around in the Camera, you have to have the camera selected, then you can move around again!
I wish there was a muzzle flash light with the turret but its still good nothertheless lol
Well done boy and thanks for reviving this 80's piece!Applause from Argentina 👍
