Self Balancing Robot PID's setting and tuning. ( Pt. 1 - Angle handling)
Переглядів 10 тис.7 років тому
The main purpose of this short video is to present how the pitch of the robot is handled in the Codesys software. This ( hopefully) :) is a first part of the series that will present this project from the software side( Codesys, Arduino etc..) as well as going though the process of tuning balance and speed controllers. enjoy. Self balancing robot Raspberry Pi and CodeSys
Переглядів 10 тис.9 років тому
Self balancing robot, based on RaspberryPi . Code has been created in CodeSys IEC 61131-3 automation software, ( Raspberry Pi Runtime) Stuff used: - RasPi B - Adafruit PWM - Pololu motors ( 29 :1) and Pololu wheels - MPU 5060 IMU Robot is connected to home Wifi network , control panel can be accessed by any device connected to the same network, ( smartphone laptop etc..) Control page has been c...
nice project, the balancing is so incredible. I hope I will have a similar one😁
Hey I would also like to buy the ebook :) Is there still someone active on this channel?
Bro what motor and driver you have used exactly
Please I want the video on project process
Hi
I want to make this but don't know anything can u help me this and contact me
HI, I am trying to make a balancing robot. Bu,t I encountered a problem with controller(PID). I think a balancing robot needs two controllers to balance, change direction, and move forward and backward. `. I'm curious about how many controllers you used. 2. If you used one or two, I would like to know how you implemented them. - Balancing is not a problem, but I feel like the robot might fall over due to another output when moving forward or backward, and I don't know what to do.
Hello, are updates planned for this robot? Seems like the webpage is down.
Hi. Wich motors are you using?
Hey, we have trouble balancing the robot with Arduino's code.
very impressive! is the book also available as hard cover? or only for kindle?
Working on a similar project and hope mine turns out as good as yours! This is amazing! Also when you got stuck on the ramp and still didn't fall, that was impressive! 👌
Hello, I was very interested by this project and bought the book thinking I might get some code out of it... I didn't 😂😭(not what I was looking for) but it's okay. I just wanted to know what method is used to calculate the rpm of the motors as I am having trouble with it while building and coding my own robot. The problem isn't the formula to calculate the rpm it self but rather the coding method used. I am using interrupt to calculate the number of pulses every second and and I have interrupts counting the number of pulses coming from the encoders. The rpm calculation interrupt takes the encoder counts from the pulse counting interrupt and give me the rpm value. Now I am having a problem where my micro controller freezes momentarily, periodically. I suspect a timing issu or interrupts problem. Any suggestions would help me greatly. Thank you
Thank you for the comment. It is valuable to know what information to include in a revised version. I did send you the answer to this in a private message.
Good robot
Nice control, I’d love to replicate if you wouldn’t mind sharing the hardware config and coding.
Thanks for the comment! You will find a lot of info in the new ebook on Amazon.Or drop us an email :)
Hello So, after a number of years, and tons of questions from our fantastic community, I've finally taken the step forward and crafted an E-Book all about Self Balancing Robots. If you're interested and want to support my channel, please have a look at it here: wickedlabelectronicsshop.store/products/ebook1 As a way to say thank you for all your support, there's a little surprise waiting for you inside. PS There are some updates to a channel, and some major updates to a robot itself on the way! :)
Could you give me the plans that I use for the construction of the car, please?
Look me up please, I have a challenge you might be interested in.
Look me up please, I have a challenge you can help with...
Can I use an HC 06 bluetooth module instead of the HC05?
Bro I am feeling jealous by this accuracy. I am currently making a Two wheel Self balancing Robot as my Final Year Project, but mine is nothing infront of your's. Awesome work.
amazing can you kindly share the code and circuit diagram
Hi... Would u plz make a tutorial of this robot making.....
Planing to do this for last few years :D
This is a nice project. One question....how do you get it to auto adjust angle setpoint for changing terrain slope? Could you post the code fragment for that?
This works bit differently. Angle is automatically adjusted based on speed of the wheels. So, If it suppose to stay stationary, it need to lean forward to fight a gravity.
Are you running those 4 lipos in series on 12v motors?
how do i register? he wants a code
hi, I would like to do a balancing with these characteristics; how can I do?
E-book is on the way :)
hi, I would like to build a balancing robot, how can I do?
Bravo !
Congratulations, nice work.
How can i get total process of building a self balancing robot... Will u please guide me to that.
this is so cool!!
Crazy how stable it is
Congrats
Nice work!
Hello! Would you like to share with me this full of project, because i really love it and i wanna make it for my finally thesis this year. Thank you.
I want to buy this project is it possible
That was a torture on the poor robot!
Impressive control.
hi bro, its so nice project. I need use mpu6050 (ı2c) and bmp180 ( ı2c ) sensors with codesys. can you suggest me any source or library. Can you send your source about mpu6050 sensor ?
hello, i did everything as you did and it all works. But if I remove the Raspi and the Beckhoff from the power supply and then switch them on again, only the Raspi starts up again. The Beckhoff does not connect and the error message is "bus is not running" Can you help me
gj!
is using a Stepper motor instead of the motor a good idea? just asking
GOOD SUPER POWER
I want to buy this project
Awesome!
i smile when you tested with glass of water.. nice one.. :)
Hi!! Which software is used here?
What if it falls? Is it autorising like balancingwii?
awesome DIY accomplishment please have a look ua-cam.com/video/FrGPu49nKsw/v-deo.html ...
