Now you my ask what is my focus, well I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. I dabble in a variety of issues from hunting, fishing, bee keeping, maintenance, gun smith, knife building and much more.

Buck Bachelor Group is on the move!
A Buck Bachelor Group is a group of whitetail bucks who will soon bust up and go their separate ways for the rut. Bucks will soon lose their velvet on their antlers in October time frame.

Beehive in house and it's not good!

A lady had a beehive in house. I did a honeybee cutout today on a house that the bees had just moved in and got evicted quick, fast, and in a hurry! . Don't spray honey bees because the honey left will attract ants, roaches and varmints! A beehive is not a bad thing when handled properly. Hunting December does with the Wileys. I had a great time hunting with Scott Wiley and Lil Scott at their hunting club. I saw a few does, a 7 point and a 4 point. Although we are still in the December Lull, we did see a few deer. I took out a mature doe and passed on the bucks. Herd management is an important factor in having a helthy deer herd. The October deer have been moving and checking out the food plots. The deer know every October we plant. Better bucks are showing up and we also have a growing turkey population. The deer season 2023 is looking promising! 2023 whitetail bucks have been moving around a bit. I have one six point on the hitlist. He seems to be blind in his left eye. I will know better once I see him during the daylight hours. These bucks have about completed their antler growth and will soon be rubbing off the velvet. Stay tuned! This week is cutting trails, mid September is spraying food plots, and the 2nd weekend in October is planting. This old swamp house is in Goodbee, Louisiana. The Ladners lived here and is was never in this condition. Mrs Dot always had a clean house and yard. We had a quail dog hunt in Bay Minette. The dog was on point and did a superb job. Joy, the dog, is 3 years old. She needs a little work on the retrieve but all in all we had a great time. I like it. I added it to my boat, a 19ft Bay Sport Aluminum.
Raptor coat is holding up good. I put flex seal on the floor in the bottom. NOTE: Nothing seems to stick to flex seal including Raptor! It does make it a lot easier to wash out and get the catfish slime off the boat.
