Great job doing it without a tutorial or schematic. To get rid of the block in the front you can put a redstone block over the rail. Naomi has been awesome on the server, very friendly and she is learning lots and help lots as well. She came and took a tour of our base the other day.

Sitting here thinking, "Is Ted going to realize that the last furnace isn't getting fuel because the hopper is getting powered by the redstone block?". oh yeah! You figured it out. Nice job! Shine get! The next thing to do it make an automatically generating fuel source.

Peter repeatedly opening a chest next to piglins and wondering why he’s being attacked. 😂 -wow what a terrible Nether spawn for that portal. lol. I also like how you refused to put the portal on the side of the room with the lava still bc you always put it on the other side lol. Guessing that’s the portal Bigporkchop found. I ended up at one on the other side of spawn but it does have a roof portal now.

I was wondering who bought the other goat horn. They are hard to farm for but I have a system. Now that someone has bought one, maybe I should lower prices.

That’s pretty cool that you can turn cows into camels now with lightning and sculk. Wonder what else you could make! Also if you have any kind of stone, don’t bother putting it into the crafting grid, save a step and put it into the stone cutter. It is more economical and you can go from regular andesite straight to polished stairs or slabs without doing extra steps.

Ted: I’ve got a bunch of stone and dirt! Audience: so you gonna fill in all the awkward holes and broken terrain in your village, right?….right? Mountain looks very nice and makes sense with the windswept taiga on the other side of your village as well. Interesting that you desire some movie style landscape facades around your base…

If you want to save on level costs, combine the books first then make the last step combining the tool to the completed book.

I actually passed by that custom mountain the other day and thought, "boy, Minecraft generated this interesting structure". It didn't even dawn on me that someone BUILT it. Also, I've been breeding horses with the best stats on the BC side, so hit me up if you need a couple. I have so many.... so many horses.

With the size of that mountain project I would suggest a cobble generator and I know your son has a good design for one might be a good project for you and Peter to make. The build really does look good and great job with the water fall too. It does look like natural generation, I flew passed it the other day looking for some nefarious elves and noticed it.... I didn't think you built it until I saw the back of it

Thanks for the kind words about the Kochi Dye shop! Those Zelda armor stands in the shopping district are definitely the only Zelda armor stands I have made all season. I built my trading hall in space this season. Had to let a guy go so I just sent him out the airlocks… Usually I just do prot 4, but I will try to get Fire Protection on whatever gold item (helmet or shoes) I do for Nether stuff. Also bows are great, though I could see why a console player wouldn’t use them as much.

Fire tick is off on the server so kids don’t burn down all our builds and roads and forests… (bc they’ve already tried) Carrying 4 stacks of wood logs for an adventure and no iron is definitely a choice lol. I was gonna laugh if the piglin traded you iron nuggets first bartering trade though. Props to you for not just doing /spawn, right click BasementCraft sign…

You being stuck in the nether tying to figure out how to get out was a blast from the past. You could have used the ghost as a way to light the portal. All you have to do is stand in the portal and have it shoot another fireball

You know what that church needs? Now hear me out. Diorite. Now, I know that sounds like the most genius idea ever, but I think it will go real well with the stone brick.

I can say 100% that is not my tunnel I have only been TNT blasting in Hyrulecraft. It's so nice to get to see spelunking videos, I know a lot will say it's not good for camera time but I do enjoy seeing the cave generations they can be quite mesmerizing.

Peter instead of dragging to the side, drag to the top of the screen above your avatar in the gui and that will cure your issue with throwing things.

Min-maxing builds and not having fun with details is a good recipe to get bored with a Minecraft world as soon as you beat the dragon and get elytra. :) although a storage room is always good to be open and easy to get around in. Also apparently translucent parts of skins don’t render on the switch. You can actually see my face under the space helmet in Java. Gg on finding drip stone. Near your base is actually some of the few drip stone caves really close. I spent like a whole afternoon looking for them and found about everything else in the game besides them.

If you jump crit with a sword, you only hit the one cow in front of you.

Bob Ross I would say was the original ASMR. His videos were very calm and just nice to hear in the background however I loved watching his show as a kid just to watch his painting too

Always out of coal…time for a simple infinite lava generator near your smelting area. Also glad you decided to renovate the iron farm. I always give Ted a lot of grief about how ugly his farms are. :) Key to customizing iron farm is make sure there’s no spawnable blocks near your spawning platform (aka where the water is flushing). You can also cut the copper into the brick like pattern to make your slabs and stairs and make it go farther. Props to you also for doing aerial maintenance with a controller setup. I do a mix. Farms for materials I can't get otherwise, I love manually shoveling a desert to get sand and chopping trees is really nice. though this season i have very limited uses for wood in my base design so I mostly cut spruce for making chests and hoppers and such. (and buy the rest as needed from my wife's wood shop)

Can't wait to see how that works out. Don't forget there's also trapped chests. Use a T flip flop circuit to activate it (for example, a piston that pushes a redstone block to power the redstone line). I'm sure you can figure it out.

Have you considered (pardon the pun) SWITCHing to using Bedrock on Windows? The Switch's low hardware specs causes way more bugs than any other version (still in active development). I'm not sure how controller support works for it (button layouts could be tough to get used to if they're not the same). You'll need a decent controller (check out offerings from 8bitdo).

Doesn't friar just mean brother? Yes, I think it has a certain meaning to specific denominations. But I do hear 'mon friar' from my friends who speak french or an offshoot of it.

I don't like the idea of trading horse armors for resources. Gold and iron are renewable, but horse armor isn't (except leather). Yes, not many like horses (because elytra is a thing) but gold, iron, and even diamonds are so easy to get.

"I'm not sure it's worth fortuning iron when we have an iron farm". The exact reason why I stopped building them. I just buy the iron from the shopping district. I think it's important to support the small businesses that have the best prices.

Block placing is different between Bedrock and Java. In bedrock you can place things in front of you when you are bridging, which is not a thing in Java. I don't know how the bedrock plugin on the server works to translate those things, but they would have to make decisions so its at least fair for everyone. There's so many parity issues between the different games. Despite was Mojang claims. (see crafting boats :))

Iron farms are so easy. It trivializes mining for iron. Also, I'm interested to see if Peter figures out the sorting system based on those signs. Or if he will hilariously misinterpret the directions. Only time will tell.

I believe the things that fortune works on between Bedrock and Java are different. When you check the wiki on Fortune, there's a lot of notes that indicate no one is really sure. Or at the very least, anyone who IS sure, doesn't update the wiki.
