OMG my native language is so difficult…. I came across your video cause I’m teaching French to a Native English Speaker and it turned out to be very hard to break things down at times… Your video is perfect :) I loved it ! And watching it, I realized that it’s even more complicated than that because certain verbs you mentioned can be used with the auxiliary verb "être" AND "avoir". Like : Retourner / Sortir : Je SUIS retourné là bas. (Être) J’AI retourné quelque chose. (AVOIR) Je SUIS sortie de la maison. J’AI sortie les poubelles. I guess, when you do the action with your body, it’s être. And when you do the action with something else Avoir. OMG 😅 I hope I didn’t anyone even more puzzled out.
