Hi Manoj, In order to survive in any field in IT including performance testing, you need to have some basic coding skills which you might learned during your engineering. You don't need to develop applications, but at least you should be in a position to write a basic logics using if conditions and loops based on the need.

We need to send username and password in encrypted format. for ex: we will give username and password in userdefined variables, but in the request these values must be in encrypted format.

also in simple way How to convert a userName “Bajj pathan” to encrypted format in Jmete.

@@venkya1469 Thank you for sharing the requirement in detail. In this case, we may need to use JDR223 sampler and write the logic to convert them in the desired encoded format and pass it to the request. In this case, you can still store the usernames as plain text as the encryption is happening runtime before passing the values. Hope that helps.

Based on the performance objectives of those microservices, we may perform different types of tests to validate the performance of the microservices. We may test them isolately to understand if there are any issues with that particular service. We may also create mock services in case of any external dependencies. In a nutshell, the performance testing the service using JMeter or any load testing tool is very similar and different types of tests will be scheduled based on the scope.

Could you please check if there is a connectivity from the cloud test environment to your local machine where influxdb has been installed. Because our actual tests will going to happen from the worker node and it should be able to communicate with the back-end listener(influxDB).

Sorry, I didn't get your question. In this video, i have demonstrated wrting the metric data to csv file. You can download the CSV file and create graphs or do analysis accordingly. Is there anything else that you are looking for?

If automatic correlation is not working, you can try manual correlation. I personally prefer to use manual correlation as I'll have better understanding of the correlations in the script.

Thanks for sharing this question. This is a general performance testing question and not related to any performance testing tool. Explaining architecture is not that complicated. We generally gather the application architecture information during the requirements gathering phase. So, we need to explain the different components involved in the architecture. In olden, we mostly see 3-tier architecture, where we have web, app and DB servers. These days, most of the application services are being deployed as Micro Services etc. So, we need to tell that information about this question. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
