Lyman 525 gr 12 ga Sabot Slug Mould
Is it possible to acquire a Mossberg 590A1 in the UK on s firearms licence? Thanks
can you still see the factory ghost ring sights through the aimpoint? (co-witness)
I had an old worn out Lee six-cavity mold that had been cannibalized for parts. I used the handles from it. Worked fine. You will have trouble with the screw holding the knob on the pin soon enough due to the thin wooden wall of the knob where it goes through. I've replaced my knob with a homemade solution that works much better.
people from the gran stands can go under de podium or its olnly for general admition? i am loking to buy a ticket but dont know where
the guys on this video was on general admission
How are these through a rifled barrel?
Lars can you give me some advice please in regards to building an Ar15 ...I'm based in the UK and hitting a few hurdles. Got a space on fac for one. Your help and advice would be greatly received. Many thanks Chris

How come you don't shoot anymore?
I've emigrated.
Is this still legal to do? Got a spare slot on my fac and would be interested in any advice you could give, as most people seem to think you have to get an rfd to do your build for you... Thanks!
The speed,,, 🚀🚀
Very light ammo your shooting cowboy loads?
Alliant 2400. 405gr bullet.
Hi bud, I'm looking to get my FAC, and wanting to train with an AR platform with functioning Bolt catch/release, so would importing something similar like you did be feasible? Could you walk me through the process? Thank you
If you are just getting into it I'd suggest buying one in UK. Lantac do good 22LR semi's www.lannertactical.com/
Someone on a forum was nice enough to send me a couple slug types to load up and see how they fly before investing in a mold. Thanks for posting your process. Looks the same as when my dad would cast from wheel weights, except he used a torch on the lead pot. A Lee melting pot looks a lot easier to manage.
They are fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate and well cycled for home loads. I guess the pot makes the process a bit easier ua-cam.com/video/WkVlOBAlIEo/v-deo.html
I hear bullets from here everyday lol
Saved me some money, now I know Lee handles can be used. Been casting .690s a while, and got a set of JT moulds in .715. Been wanting to try Lyman slugs as my smoothbore air rifle was super accuywith the diablo pellets. I don't hunt but want accurate low recoil slug loads. Gave up on Lee drive key slugs. Good vidio. Now to order Lyman moulds.
I could stand front of that noting would happen its not that powerful its like 22lr
I wouldn't test that theory myself, but then I am not an idiot.
Been wondering about the Lee commercial handles working on this mold and if you needed to support the pin while pouring and this video answered all my questions without a word. Perfect!
Is that how they come UK spec? Reason I ask is I've seen some with a funny looking black barrel extension fitted?
Yes, although I added the rail and front/rear sight. You are talking about the fixed muzzle brake on the blued 590's that were sold in the UK before these arrived to make them 24". I didn't like them either.
@@largrizzly9197 Ahh Thank you! The fixed muzzle brake really put me off. If you don't mind me asking, who supplied yours?

@@largrizzly9197 Cheers matey :)
ice shooting what distance this was ???
About 50 yards.
How much did this rifle set you back? ££
is this a private or public range?
It's a club range.
@@largrizzly9197 which club?
@@BradleyJohnHunt Severnside near Rogiet MOD range.
Where did you get the rear sight on the barrel
Came as a package. It's an XS Sight Systems front, rear and shotrail. Brownells UK I think. Not the cheapest and would suggest looking around.
Du bist kein guter
Hello mate, I'm thinking of buying the same gun for practical. Do you have any issues with the fixed choke or is it not a problem for PSG? Cheers.
I've never used the Mossberg for comps, just for fun, but it's always been fine at hitting the plates. I think if I was shooting comp I'd use my Benelli M2.
Where is this gun sold cant find it?
I imported the parts from the states and put it together myself.
This place still open now?
It's a road. It's always open.
Hi I am from bristol and I am looking for some spots to ride a bike have , I found this clip do you have any where that i can try out my bike? Will appreciate response ?
Is your bike road legal?
How did you get around the 2 plus 1 restriction in the uk for shotguns? Just wondering?
Section 1 shotguns don't have a mag restriction. You have to have a firearms certificate for them rather than a shotgun certificate. In Northern Ireland we have to be a member of a club that does practical shotgun to be allowed shotguns with more than 2+1 capacity.
@@wonderloafI’m not educated in ni firearm laws but with practical shooting are you then allowed to purchase slugs I thought in Northern Ireland you couldn’t have anything less than 9 pieces of shot in a single cartridge
There are many places where you can sit?
Yes many.
Getting a No.4 MK I myself. Any significant differences?
WORDS ARENT EXPENSIVE, MIGHT TRY ADDING A FEW NEXT VIDEO
VIDEOS AREN'T EXPENSIVE EITHER. MAYBE YOU COULD ADD ONE TO YOUR CHANNEL.
@@largrizzly9197 haha
Apparently, the CAPS LOCK key doesn't cost anything to press either.
Finally a video for us deaf gun enthusiasts!
Pardon?
How do I get a mosin and what license do I need
1. Buy one from a gun shop 2. Firearm certificate
Nice shooting....wondering what rounds you're shooting
I reload my own ammo. I think from memory I was using 405gr RNFP with Aliiant 2400.
oi mate! YOU GOT A FUCKING LICENCE FOR THAT? YA CHEEKY WANKER!
Is this "build" (bought parts) or "manufacture" (as in melted a lot of soda cans, cast them, and milled them into an ar15 lower - and then somehow made all the steel parts as well)?
Bought parts.
太厉害了👍
Thanks.
Oh, and very nice shooting with a century old cartridge that still works as good as it ever did. I have serious 45 70 envy.
Thanks, it's a great calibre to shoot..
Would you recommend a similar site for 30-30? The factory sights on my 80s era 336 are beyond my visual capabilities now past about 25 to 50 yards.
Personally I'd mount a scope for anything over 50 yards. The red dot is good for quick target acquisition at short range.
I hope to be this good one day !
hi, do you have a gpx file with this route ? cheers
Checkout ua-cam.com/video/juSlWSdBVDY/v-deo.html Part 2 and 3 also uploaded.
I would like to attend the severnside range but can't find much info on it. Is it a open range (just turn up and shoot) or do you have set days? Awesome gun collection too :) I'm thinking on getting the new kriss dmk22 ar15 & maybe a MARS VZ 58.
Guest days are 2nd Saturday of every month. You could always come along on guest day and introduce yourself to Richard and express your interest in joining. Very nice chap and a great club to shoot at.
Bidding on a blonde one as I write. UF55 damn things are getting pricey.
Yep, but a great piece of history to own that will only become more sought after.
What mount on the aimpoint?
Standard Weaver that it comes with.
@@largrizzly9197thanks for the reply. I have an EOTECH on mine right now and am looking for something that is only a dot without the ring, as well as hopefully get it a little bit lower to the rail so I can get a better cheek weld. It looks like that sits pretty low
@@greenventuresllc.2860 I find the Aimpoint is the perfect height for the Marlin using the standard mount. Great sights too. And you could always stick it on a La Rue mount if you have an AR.
is it a regular buffer and buffer spring?
Yep.
Glad to see the shooting sports still alive across the pond.
Would rather watch paint dry than to watch a video where someone won't talk to at least provide some of the what-to-do's and what-not-to-do's for the process

Try the enamel. It takes longer to dry and will amuse you for hours. If you pay attention to the video, you see all you need. I bought one after watching this and it works perfectly.
Fine shooting. Distance?
Thanks. About 50 yards.
I know this vid is a few years old now but @3:57 Daang. Think that was intentional? To stop greenlaners?? That's illegal isn't it? Cause that's a legal right-of-way? :/ Great video overall though :)
Yes absolutely intentional. It's called fly tipping. Usually cowboy builders or small time disposal firms dumping rubbish in the middle of nowhere rather than pay for a licence to dispose of it properly. It's illegal and we would go after anyone we find doing it. Usually the council clear it once it's reported. There are quite a few locals who turn their nose up at us riding our bikes but they fail to understand we are just as protective of the countryside as they are.
Nice rifle
Thanks.
Ciao! Grazie in anticipo.
Need google translate : ) All my video is general admission. Yes the stands at 3:30 are general admission. Only the very big stands (grandstands) are not general admission. From memory I think the only race update is on screen. Entry to Parabolica on inside is best for general admission, move to three positions during race, one screen and reach podium after race. This is OK map: www.thesportingtraveller.com/sites/default/files/grand_prix_map_italy_0_0.jpg
Oh sorry :) Thanks a lot for the info! You're very kind
