Works on any material. Just not recommended for the furry leathers like suede or nubuck. Also depending on the knit and how porous it is water might get through the gaps anyway. But the treatment would stop the knit getting soaked through. I have several Ultraboost (Primeknit) treated like this and no issues in the rain. Just do 3 treatments with at least an hour drying time between each.

Totally agree. The tongue just bunches up to one side and puts pressure on the top of your foot. The later Jordan’s like the 4 and 5 had the elastic bands on either side which works well instead of a gusset. The lace loop in the middle of the tongue is basically useless with most shoes I own. Running the laces through the loop a bit higher than you should gives you more tension and I “think” helps it stay in place more but that’s just subjective too.

Don’t get any of the 2. These are probably both of the worst constructed jordan 1s ever and materials are not good. Neither of the 2 will age good.

No tunes. If I'm struggling on a particular day I might try to listen to some music just to get through the pain barrier. Otherwise just random gaming, sneakers, cars and NFL videos on my subscription feed.
