It's an Addon called Method Raid Tools: www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/method-raid-tools After installing it you can type "/mrt" (without the quotes) in-game and go to the "Raid cooldowns" section to choose what you would like tracked and in which column. I'd also recommend going to the "Appearance" tab and setting the "Background alpha" to 0, then dragging it to where you'd like it on your screen and checking the "Lock" box. Hope that helps!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but the main points are: Maintain Lifebloom on a target that is taking constant damage (usually the active tank). Maintain Efflorescence on a large group of stationary players (usually the melee). Cast Rejuvenation for 8-10 GCDs *before* any big damage comes out. Cast Swiftmend and then immediately cast Wild Growth so that the cast finishes *as soon* as the big damage happens. Then heal a few low health targets with Regrowth. I also like to cast Tree of Life early to make sure to get a 2nd use later in the fight, Flourish on the first big damage mechanic after ramping, and then immediately cast Tranquility to reduce the CD of these spells. Also remember to Mana Potion and Innervate early so that you can potentially get a 2nd usage later. Try to fit 1 Efflorescence, 1 Wild Growth, and as many Rejuvenates as possible into the Innervate window. Also remember to cast Grove Keepers to amp your healing during any big damage and be sure to not overcap on charges. Hopefully that answers your question! =)

So I just use basic mouseover macros, such as: #showtooltip /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Rejuvenation Just replace "Rejuvenation" with whichever spell you'd like and when you click the keybind it will cast the spell on whichever frame or player you're mousedover, and if you are mousedover a dead or unfriendly target it will cast the spell on yourself instead =)

@@SigsPlays I’m really new to all of this, and want to learn how to be a better restro Druid, macros seem to help with that! So you can click on the name in the raid group and it autocast?

@@zatch6158 Macros do definitely help! And not quite : After making the macro you will drag it to your action bar on whichever keybind you'd like for that spell - then if you just move your mouse cursor over the name in the raid group and then press that keybind on your keyboard it will cast that spell at that player without you have to actually click on the frame first. It saves a bit of time since you don't have to keep clicking the nameplates to target players. Similarly you can even move your cursor over their physical character model and click the keybind for a spell macro and it will cast that spell on that player without having to click on them or mouseover their frame at all, which is situationally useful in case you see a player about to get hit by something but you aren't sure who they are or can't find their frame quick enough. Hopefully that explains it but feel free to let me know if you have any more questions! =)

Hey there - make sure to take the "Master Shapeshifter" Talent (near the bottom left of the Resto Talent Tree) and then when you cast Wrath it will give you Mana back. Spam that when there is downtime during a fight, use a Mana Potion (early in the fight if it is longer than 5 minutes so that you can use another one later), and utilize your Innervate window well by casting 1 Efflorescence, 1 Wild Growth, and as many Rejuvenates as you can (again, using it early in the fight so that you can get another use later), and that should help a bit. Resto Druid is definitely very Mana hungry, so knowing when to pre-ramp your heals to get ready for big damage and when to let it regenerate for a bit while Wrath Spamming definitely helps a lot. =)

@SigsPlays thank you so much for answering. Have you found resto druid a bit underwhelming? I noticed the priest in the raid out-healed you even though you never stopped casting. And the other resto druid was really struggling. The wow community seems to be in agreement that resto druid is least desired to play and currently an underdog number wise and play style wise. What are your thoughts on that? Have you thought about switching to a different healing class because of that?

To give my thoughts / answers to your other questions: Resto Druid was definitely very underpowered at the start of the expansion, but they've been buffed significantly since then, for a total of an 18% flat healing increase, I believe. They are also receiving some nice talent changes on this Tuesday. Since this recording we received a flat 5% healing buff, and I was also fairly undergeared in this recording. Now that I have more gear I am doing much better. We are currently progressing on Mythic Rasha'nan and I am averaging about 1.7-1.8 million HPS compared to the same priest's 1.2 - 1.3 million. That being said, parse for parse they are behind all healers besides Resto Shaman and Mistweave on *average*, but their outlier high parses are ahead of every single other healer's high parse % with the exception of Preservation Evoker. That means that if you play incredibly well you can outheal every other healing spec except for one, even if they are also playing incredible well - but if you are only playing at an average level then you will likely be outhealed by every other spec except for two if they are also playing at an average level or above. I personally really enjoy the playstyle for raid healing, and perform quite well at it, so I'm sticking with it. I do however incredibly dislike healing Mythic Plus with it, so I play any of the other 3 specs in M+ and have rolled a Resto Shaman for healing Mythic+ and have been enjoying that a lot more. At the end of the day Blizzard is still making near-constant changes to balancing every week, so I'd recommend that people just play a playstyle that they enjoy and practice it until they can perform incredibly well at it, at which point you are likely to beat out any other 'meta' spec that isn't playing their class at as high of a level. It definitely felt bad underperforming due solely to class/spec scaling for a while, but at this point I can hold my own against just about any other healer (at least in raid content) as long as I play well, and I personally find that to be quite rewarding. =)

@SigsPlays my wife has a shaman and I tried out some pvp and dungeons as resto and was blown away how easy it is to play as a totemic resto spec and rotation is so easy. Earlier I went from fully geared rogue to a feral druid and the difference was night and day. I hope these imbalances get addressed.

It's actually just the default UI Raid Frames. If you go to settings and check "Use Raid-Style Part Frames" under "Raid Frames" in the "Interface" section of the settings, along with "Display Class Colors" and "Display Power Bars" then they'll look like this. From there you can click the little arrow on the left hand side of the screen when in a Party, click the checkbox to Unlock the Frames, and then move / resize them however you'd like.

I still enjoy mine. I find the hybrid playstyle of doing damage and healing unique and engaging. I will say, it seems like the damage patterns on a lot of the BWL / ZG bosses aren't great for healing mage though. We do best with chunk group-wide damage, and it seems like most bosses are either big single-target tank damage, or a lower amounts of damage on targets that gets healed by the other healers first. Healing Mage is still perfectly viable though. We run 2 in our raid group along with a Disc Priest, Resto Shaman, and Resto Druid, and I'm usually the top HPS while also contributing damage, so I think that that's pretty cool. There is also a new Frost Healing build too that I haven't quite gotten the pieces to try out yet, but it seems pretty powerful and like it could be a nice change of pace, so maybe that's worth checking out too. It's not for everyone though, and there's a lot of other cool classes in the game, so if it's not your cup of tea then that's understandable.

I would love to, but unfortunately I don't think that I'll have the time to. There's a whole new frost healing build that I wanted to get built before making a video but at this point I'm so behind on my rep farm for it that it'd be a while either way. Thankfully arcane healing mage plays pretty similarly in Phase 5 to how it did in Phase 3, with the exception just being that with the Netherwind set bonus you can now roll Mass Regen on up to 3 full groups pretty consistently. Doing that rotation you should weave in more Arcane Barrages than Arcane Blasts to make sure that you Mass Regen as soon as it's up, which ends up helping a lot with Mana too. Otherwise it's just deciding between Burnout (short fights) or Enlightenment (long fights or fights where you can be above 70% mana) on the Chest, and Spell Power or Chronostatic Pres on the boots (I've been using Chrono a lot more for some big single-target tank heals while channeling other spells). There's also some other tech for specific bosses but for the most part if you can get Tier 2 and just play it like Phase 3 with Mass Regen you should be doing just fine. If I find the time I'll try to make a guide video going over the basics at least =)

@@basmong +Spell dmg gear for sure. +Healing gear only increases the direct healing portion from Regen/Mass Regen/Chronostatic Preservation healing, but the bulk of our healing comes from the Chronomantic Healing we do to our Beacon targets by doing damage.

Hmmm, you should have at least 6 unless someone died in battle. Mia and Ilyana you have to recruit with Ike in Chapters 7 and 8 respectively, but the other 6 that I have join automatically by this point. You also get Mist and Rolf automatically in this Chapter and can get Marcia here if you spoke with her as Ike in Chapter 3 as well. The spell history is part of the "Details! Damage Meter". If you go to settings -> plugins -> enable action tracker then you can get it to show up. The sideways scrolling one is called TrufiGCD. =)

It's my pleasure! Resto Druid can be a bit complicated at first, but with some practice I'm sure that you can play it well. Resto Druids are proactive healers, versus reactive ones, meaning that you need to start spreading your Healing Over Time (HoT) spells *before* the damage comes out, or else you will already be behind. The basics involve maintaining Lifebloom on a target that is taking consistent damage (usually the active Tank), maintaining Efflorescence on as many players as possible (usually the Melee stack), and then spreading Rejuvenate on about 5-10 targets right before any big damage happens. Then you will hit Swiftmend and cast Wild Growth so that the cast finishes right when the big damage happens. After that follow up with a few Regrowths on any targets with low HP, then rinse and repeat. Whenever there is downtime where there is not a lot of healing to do, you can spam cast Wrath to regenerate some Mana. And once you understand the damage pattern of a fight you can use Flourish, Tranquility, and/or Incarnation: Tree of Life to further boost your healing during heavy damage windows. Also remember to use your Grove Guardians charges to buff your healing and try to always keep it on cooldown by not staying at 3 charges. I think that they are both viable and fulfill different niches. Keeper is the 'recommended' build and what I see most people running on raider.io. I've tried both and prefer Elune's Chosen, but I might just need to practice Keeper more. Elune's definitely has an easier rotation, excels in sustained AoE, and is less cooldown dependent. Keeper definitely does more Single-Target damage on longer fights, such as bosses, and has great burst if you have cooldowns up. Keeper is probably better if you are doing big pulls that line up with your cooldowns, or for tough bosses with Tyrannical. I personally was doing more damage overall with Elune's than Keeper, but I might just need to practice Keeper more. If you've been running Keeper and enjoy it then I'd just stick with it, but I do personally currently prefer Elune's for the easy and consistent rotation, as well as the big sustained AoE that it does.

In this recording my Crit was 1,624 and Haste was 1,228. You can check all my stats and other stuff on the log link here: classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/bf9Ta8QgKvcLwCzP#fight=18&type=summary&source=10 I've since transitioned to running more Haste, and am sitting at 1,869 Crit with 1,532 Haste. This tier it's a little difficult to hit that 2nd Haste breakpoint, so I was just sitting at the first cap and stacking Crit, but I've noticed more and more people on logs pushing up Haste beyond the first cap over Crit, and it definitely feels better to play and seems to do more damage that way. Hope that helps =)

I think that Keeper of the Grove does more healing overall. I find that the 5/10/15% healing bonus from Grove Keepers is really strong for healing through big damage, plus the healing from Dream Petals and the Keepers themselves is a lot. The extra HoTs from Wildstalker is nice, but I think that people mostly run it for the extra damage to speed up the dungeon.

You can do all that from the weakauras settings. In case you (or anyone else reading this) isn't familiar with the Weakauras addon, I'll post my faq blurb for it here too: After installing the Addon go to the Wago link for the Weakaura above and click "Copy Import String" in the red oval near the top of the page. Then in the in-game chat box type "/wa" (without the quotes) and press enter. Next, click Import near the top of the Weakauras settings window that should appear, then simply press ctrl + v to paste the weakaura string that you just copied from the Wago website, and then click the red "Import" button down at the bottom. After that you should see the Temporal Beacon icon with the remaining duration on your raid frames. You can also adjust the size and position of the graphic from the Weakauras settings menu if you'd like.

Absolutely! As long as you pre-beacon for that AoE damage it's massive HPS. And it gets even better with a larger group =)

It's definitely situational. I like Burnout for the extra throughput for sure, so that's usually my go-to, but on longer fights where mana is more of a concern then I definitely prefer Enlightenment. The 10% dmg is nice if you can stay in that +70% mana window by using mana pots / gems early, and I find that the extra regen does actually help once under 30% mana too - plus it has the upside as not draining as much mana as Burnout. I'll even run single Regeneration in some situations where I want to keep Beacons on the tank for longer without having to spend the extra mana on Mass Regen, depending on how the raid groups are set up.

I probably could have gone with Spell Power but Preservation is a nice, mana-efficient, emergency heal that's useful for topping up a single target, such as the tank, quickly. I like to have that option available =)

@@mindfu7 Yeah, the 2 group (3 with tier set) zugg blast is def the most overall throughput, and I do like Spell Power for the extra damage too. The frost build seems interesting. I would need a lot of specific gear to make it work, but I might check it out once I do. It seems like the upside is that it does way more damage than Arcane, and probably similar healing, so that seems like it would be worth it. Kind of annoying to have to farm a whole other set of gear for it though, and I'm sure that you can get just as much HPS with the standard Arcane build.

I'd assume it's just Netherwind and Arcanist tier for the extra long beacons, and then either the new Mage Staff from Vael or the Thunderaan 1-hander. Thunderaan has a nice Arcane trinket too. But I'm still waiting for someone to put out a full BiS list, otherwise anything with a lot of + Spellpower or Arcane Damage is probably going to be solid for an Arcane Heal build.

Yeah maybe, it definitely wouldn't surprise me if it was bugged. It took us quite a few attempts, but most of the wipes were due to threat / positioning issues. Once we figured that out and as long as people ran out with the adrenaline buff and died away from the group with it it wasn't so bad. Hopefully you're able to get it soon!

@@looloolingmong651 Hey there, I'd recommend looking at this article on WoWHead for Builds: www.wowhead.com/guide/classes/druid/restoration/talent-builds-pve-healer You can export the talents and then import them in-game with just a couple of clicks. I basically use the raid build from that page for raid, and the Mythic + build for M+. It can definitely be a lot to take in at once. If you get a chance I'd recommend sitting down and just reading through all the talents. If you do that it'll start to click how everything works together. For some basic tips, just remember to maintain Lifebloom (On the active Tank in Raid, or on yourself *and* the tank in M+), maintain Efflorescence (usually on melee), maintain Rejuvenate in M+ or cast about 6-8 Rejuvs before big damage in Raid, press Swiftmend and then cast Wild Growth when big damage comes out, and spam Regrowth if you need to do big single-target healing. There's a bit more to it than that, but if you follow that basic rotation to start you should be able to get the hang of things. Then you can start weaving in Cooldowns and optimizing ramps once you learn the damage patterns of a particular fight. Also, remember that you can spam cast Wrath to get Mana back with those builds I linked above, since Resto Druid is fairly Mana hungry. I hope that helps a bit. Good luck and have fun =)
