Thank you for great info !
Glad it was helpful!
I'm looking for a Lexus ES300h but haven't decided between a new or used one. The price difference seems to be around $8,000-$10,000. • A new base model is priced around $50,000-$51,000. • A used one typically costs about $40,000-$43,000. • Alternatively, high-mileage or accident-damaged models are in the $30,000-$32,000 range. I'd appreciate your opinion on this. Thanks for taking the time to help!
Hi Manihsi, Well, I'll tell you like that if you can afford by a new one, it's good feeling. Nice new car's smell, it's like a new baby😊 etc. But you paying a price for it. I bought with 9000 miles on the clock from Lexus. I do believe that car had a small accident, that's why colour peeled off from the front bumper because it's been badly repaired. Of course sales team don't say that for you. When I installed app I can see that car has been repaired before sold to me. My wife driving Lexus IS300H 2018 We bought with 60000 miles on the clock. She driving for the last 2 years no issues at all but she do only on average 5000 miles a year. If you buy Lexus ES300H I do recommend to treat your car with injector cleaner as well, every service you do. It's few people's has been contacting me regarding this matter. My advice would be don't buy F- sport model seats not comfortable as on Premium and suspension harder. So far to be honest with you I'm happy with my choice to drive a Lexus. I hope you have better picture for your design ☺️ 👍
Nice one! All hybrid drivers need to know this!
Definitely 💯👍
İ think its not necesarry switch to the N
Is it I pad? Or tab? I mean screen
Hi, Samsung Tab.
Hi Ugi, great video. I have a question for you. I bought my 2021 ES300H with 18k, now it has 32k. I noticed recently that it was idling rough, hesitating, and shaking in traffic (intermittently). However, no check engine light. I took it to Lexus and they said it could possibly be the injectors, but no fault codes. They want me to rebook, and keep the car for a couple of days. I am still under the warranty,as I have serviced the car with them, but really disappointed that after 30k my Lexus is having these issues. The whole point of me buying the Lexus over it's German rival was reliability, and less headaches. I saw your video and I have the same issue. Do you know if this a common issue, and will they be needed to be replaced again? Cheers!
Hi, I start thinking that injectors are week point, and could be common issue with LEXUS ES300H. I had the same question from another person as well. I was disappointed as well. It was idling rough for sometime, started slowly and was getting worse, until engine management light pop in. I remember when I was driving up to steep hill and using sport mode I've got engine management light on dash. Since I sorted the issue I'm using injector cleaner every service I do. I'm glad to hear that you still under warranty, I had to pay because I decided to service my self. Ugi
@UgiBristol Hi Ugi, Thanks for such a quick reply. It's definitely disappointing, and expensive if you don't have the warranty. I think because you've done the servicing yourself, you're probably about break even or close. They put the additive in, but because it's Christmas time, I've decided not to work, so not sure if it will maka any difference now.The only thing that surprises me is, the engine management light hasn't come on. I recorded the engine noise when I heard it, and it's identical to yours. So it has to be the injectors. As you said, it looks like a weak point or we just got unlucky. I also have only ever put Shell petrol into it as well, and now wonder if it's worth it? I like the fact you put in the additive after every service. I messaged you previously regarding loss of mpg. It was definitely due to the cold weather, but I also think that I've lost a couple of mpg due to this issue. Definitely interesting to see if you have the same issue again. Fingers crossed it was a one off, and you can drive it for 500k! Happy Christmas/Holidays to you and your family.
@ravd883 Happy Christmas for you and your family as well 👍

@@UgiBristol 25 years driving a taxi in Dublin .
Uber changed taxi business across the country's. It's very hard to compare with them, only couple of niches left where you have got an advantage on them. What they done I call modern slavery 😔 It would be easy to change if driver's would be united, but most of them trying to survive and can not afford to live without logging in for month or two on the Uber app or deleting and joining local companies.
You’re right but once you’ve been self employed it’s hard to go back taking orders from so called managers these days 😢😂
I like your hat😂

Very impressive! I can't believe you've achieved such result by doing it first time. 💪😎👍

Ugi bristol what is monthly insurance and price of vehicle?
Hi, My finance for car £625 a month and insurance £2000 a year with 6 years no claim bonus.
@UgiBristol nice bro keep it up
@ Ugi bristol how much fuel cost
Excellent and professional test. Approved by life! Thx.
Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate 😊👍
Hi mate. Quick question for you? I have seen my mpg drop from about 54 mpg to around 44 mpg in the cold. My driving is exactly the same. Does this sound right? Thanks.
Hi, My mpg dropped as well from 52 to 48 in recent months It make me wonder why? and I'm thinking same as you. I'm driving mostly on motorway maybe that's a bit of difference between 10 and 4 mpg on average. I do believe that could weather effecting your mpg. When I drive in the city I noticed that petrol engine working more often than on warmer days. If you will face some issues later, on that case, please share the details with me as well. It's always good to know what to expect later on. Thank you 👍
@UgiBristol Thanks for the reply mate. I definitely believe it's because of the weather. We had -2 and -3 in the Midlands. Filled up my tank and the range is usually 500 + miles. Now it's showing 445. I guess that with the cold, heating on, lights on etc., it definitely makes a difference. Still better than any EV but it was a bit of a surprise. Will keep you informed, and let me know how you do. Cheers!
@ravd883 I will do 👍
Hi, can you provide a link for the oil filter removal tool? Thanks

@@UgiBristolthank you
I like the fact that the rear quarter glass (small corner one) is sitting on bolts. Some cars have it on glue, which is a pain to remove. It proves again why Lexus and Toyota are great!
Like a Lego 😉 I like that Lexus making DIY friendly decisions.
Hi Ugi, how did you noticed when your injectors failed? How much did it cost to repair? Thanks
Hi, Thanks to your question 👍 I just uploaded a short video to answer ☺️ You can follow the link: ua-cam.com/video/6_EwBREZd1s/v-deo.html
@@UgiBristol I got the same issue same noise but no engine management light “yet”
@8ruffryderboy5 When injectors get worse then engine management light pop's on. I had that sound for 2-3 months until light came on. Try to use injector cleaner maybe it's helps to clean. If your car still has got a warranty record the sound and have a chat with Lexus. I'm using injector cleaner every service now.
@@UgiBristol thanks for your reply Ugi, so better if I start to save up now lol
Personally I would try to use injector cleaner with every 3rd tank in the beginning. Or find injector cleaning shop and have a word with them. In my situation when I started getting this noise I didn't know what's going on until I get engine management light on.
Easy 👍
Super easy everyone can do it 😜 👍💪😊
Been checking out videos for bmw to replace oil and filters. Fucking hell, it’s so much easier for Lexus 😂
Maybe I do have an issues with outside design, but inside is very friendly 💯 👍
As always, completely avoidable. On the phones, or just not paying attention. Sorry, but no excuses. They should be forced to re-take their driving tests.
100% Agree 👍
I have the same car. How often are you recommending oil changes?
Hi, Lexus saying every 10000 miles, but I'm changing every 7500 miles. Instead Cambelt this car got engine chain, they do stretching and it's important to keep it clean for longer lasting. I have 120000 miles on the clock when I reach 150000 and If I decide to replace myself I will make a video.
@UgiBristol Thanks for the reply. I have 28,000 miles on mine. Hoping to drive it to 500,000 😂. Mine is the F-Sport, so the suspension is harder, and the seats aren't as comfortable. I was going to buy an E class but I think the Lexus is better longterm. I'm in the Midlands and I just got my Operator's licence because Uber doesn't pay well.
When I did research someone mentioned that F-Sport seats not that comfortable as on Premium. My wife driving IS300h F-Sport and I do understand what you mean. Can you visit my web www.ugi.taxi and send me a WhatsApp msg with your name. It's good to have a contacts in different places when we do the same job. You never know maybe we can have some business one day. Nice to meet you 👍

From where are you buying spare parts? Because video Toyota parts, which model car parts thank you
Hi Jim, As you know Lexus is Posh virgin of Toyota and some parts comes in Toyota boxes. It is an online shop based in Swindon just follow the link: lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/shop/ If you do have a company register as trade account part's will be a bit cheaper. If you have got more questions don't hesitate to ask 👍
Can you please tell me from where you bought the rubber mats ?
Hi, I'm not sure now, I think in Halfords.
What was your MPG in this shift?
Hi, Average mileage on this car about 50 MPG. You driving in city or on motorway.
Good camera work and editing. Pleasure to watch 😎👍
Thank you for your support 😊🙏
You can't just drive in, you have to give a whole bunch of information first and there is a £5 drop off charge
Thank you so much for your feedback! I completely understand your concern, and I really appreciate you pointing that out. As a taxi driver, I’m just trying to make things smoother for everyone, but I can see how the extra information might have been unclear. It’s hard to miss those signs about the £5 drop-off fee, and I’ll make sure to update the thumbnail to clearly show that this applies. Thanks again for your comment - it’s super helpful in improving things!
Not a bad morning 👍
Very good morning 🌞
Have you changed the gearbox oil?
Hi Florian, Lexus saying it's a life time. If you buy a new car and you do 5000 to 10000 miles a year a wouldn't bother to change it. Lexus Gearbox it's very simple and reliable but because I'm doing a lot of miles I do change every 50000-60000 miles. I'm not changing filter because it's inside gearbox. I'm just refreshing draining off and refiling with the same amount of oil. If you taking a Lexus service plan it's under the the warranty. To be honest It's very simple to service Lexus by your self I will do a videos later on.
It isn't hiding, it's parked safely off the carriageway.
Yes and no, You can spot in the last moment only. Those guys knows good spots 😜 I was driving 30 mph doesn't effect me but couple moments before one guy overtook me and he was flying 🛬 not sure if he avoided ticket.
Can't wait 😊🚦🏣🔥 Clifton
What MPG you getting working Uber around Bristol ?
Hi, To be honest not working on Uber much. Only when making a video and picking up fears let's say, if I'm driving to Airport, and someone booking Uber to airport. But I think it's will be not big difference what I'm getting now 52-54 mpg. It's hybrid 4 and generate electricity power even when you driving 70 mph.
@@UgiBristol Ok I understand, how about urban driving stop/ start?
It's absolutely fine, is totally different experience from normal engine's with stop/start systems. Let's say if you start moving slowly you using battery power in the beginning but if you need to move faster and you press the pedal power comes from battery and petrol engine in the same time.
@@UgiBristol Sorry I mean what kind of MPG are you getting City/ Town driving ?
@Nomaanrashid I can't tell you exactly what mpg in the city. I'm driving this Lexus nearly 2 years and mpg not charging drastically it's motorway or city mpg keeping between 51-53 mpg.
I would buy one but it doesn't have folding rear seats so its not suitable.
Yes, you're right, the rear seats don't fold down. There's only a small opening in the middle when you lower the armrest.
I USED TO MAKE 40 pounds an hour
£40 an hour is good result 👍
please do more vidoes about this cool car
I will do 👍
are you an Uber driver?
Hi Johnny, These days I'm doing a lot private jobs. Mostly long runs like Bristol-Heathrow etc. I used to work on Uber, but now time to time and I'm using it to catch trips which is on my way. 👍
Ugi, great video. I was thinking of one of these over an Audi A6/Merc E220d. I mainly do motorway miles. What's the economy like on the motorway at 70mph and 80mph? With regards to your paint, Lexus UK might be a better call!
Hi, I'm glad you liked the video. Thank you 😀👍 I'm servicing every 7,500 miles. Since injectors failed I'm adding injector cleaner every service now. It's mostly motorway miles at 70-80 mph and this Lexus doing above 50 mpg on average. Thank you for advice I'll give a call to Lexus UK.
@@UgiBristol Hi, my Camry with this powertrain is at around 45k miles, and I preventively also have added injector cleaner. Didn't notice any difference though 😂 I'd like to ask you, have you noticed that the powertrain is sensitive when it comes to petrol/gasoline quality? If one always fills in high quality fuel, then of course there's nothing to notice :D
@@PFinkoloTL87 Hi, When I bought for a year I used to fill with Shell V power, but sense injectors failed I'm using normal shell E10 petrol and adding injector cleaner every service. To be honest I'm not feeling much difference in power performance maybe just a little bit 👍
@@UgiBristol Such a weird thing your injectors failed. I live in Eastern Europe and this year I once filled up with unusually cheap petrol, that gave me horrible fuel economy. I drove it till only approx. 3 liters were in the fuel tank and filled her up with the most expensive 100 octane E5 fuel I could find locally. Holy moly, the difference in power and *consumption* was and is massive. It consumes less than I was used to beforehand.
@Abszurdista-fatalista It was a bit costly here in UK to fix at Lexus but I glad I took this decision they replaced 2 injectors and with full check's they charged me £1400. But when I drove from Lexus engine started idling badly again. Brought back and they replaced another 2 for free 😊. Usually I'm doing around 50 MPG but for the last couple of months it's dropped to 47. I think because I started driving a bit faster and a bit more aggressively on motorway.
Lovely car great review i am looking to buy one soon had enough of BMW Mercedes i need reliability
Thank you for your comment 👍 It's really smooth and comfortable cars to drive. I'm a taxi driver and doing a lot of private jobs transfering people from the Bristol to London etc. I heard a lot of good comments from the customers how comfortable seats are. I will keep this Lexus for at least 3 years and I keep updating how it's performing.
Is the suspension comfortable on the bad roads of Bristol?
Hi Azan, Thank you for your question. I'll address all your concerns in the 150,000-mile review. Overall, the suspension is very good, but when driving slowly on rough roads with many potholes, it's quite wobbly inside 👍
I own a Lexus IS 300h with 100.000 miles too and it's the best car i've ever owned. I bought it from new and i'll keep it.
My wife driving Lexus IS300H F-sport model 2018 Reg. They a bit smaller and some things a better and nicer than on ES 2021 :) I like how IS holding the road on motorway when you driving faster. But I can tell you ES300H is much more comfortable 👍
helpful
Thank you 😊👍
Looks like it has some portal to parallel universe...
Thanks God that my wife was working on that day's 😊
Not sure what you think is the problem with the design? It looks distinctly Lexus but also modern. Interior is better than most bmw for sure
Hi I'm not saying is bad. It's my first experience to review a car. I should go deeper in the details. Sorry you can't be good in the beginning everything comes with experience. In my opinion is to much chrome details outside around the car. Front could be at least 10-15 cm shorter. Inside Seat's are amazingly comfortable front panel looks good but computer controller and windows opening button's for luxury car it's awful. Let's say my wife driving IS300 H F sport 2018 and those buttons looks much more better. Like I said this is my opinion and all of us have different tastes. Thank you for your comment 👍
Its a Lexus which is Toyota. My local mechanic told me Toyota is the most reliable and Lexus is Toyota with bells on.Regarding the paint issue contact Lexus UK give the local office away.
Yes posh Toyota 😊 Thank you for advice I will do 👍
Thank you for explaining. 🙏 What I’m saying is that if the price difference between a new and used one is only $7,000-$10,000, it doesn’t make sense for me to choose a used one-unless it’s a 2021-2022 model with 30,000-50,000 miles and an accident history, priced $20,000 less than a new one. But maybe I’m wrong!
@@Manihsi If you can afford it get a new or superseded (new) Lexus. I always got an extended warranty but experts say not really worth it. I think it is if not too much more. Properly maintained it will last forever.
I really like the fact that Lexus are like a Lego. Very easy to maintenance, but when you do your self, you loosing a warranty. Like in my situation injectors failed ( think's do happens ) and I had to pay for it, but for me miles I'm driving wasn't a point of keeping a warranty.
@@UgiBristol Very true. Under warranty they MUST do the servicing.
Good car.
Thank you 😊
Agree, have 2019 300h (first yr of nw platform), splendid in all respects! Emma Peel would prefer to her Lotus.
Silverzone parking is a complete rip off . Its the same price for the flight . Its a deterrent for flying from Bristol . Which is an awkward airport . Why is the airport not near the motorway. Cardiff doesn't have Easy Jet . But its more cost effective to jump on a bus to Heathrow than pay the extortionate amount that Bristol airport charges .
Hi Richard, I do understand your frustration. We taxi's having to pay £6 Drop off fee every time we entertaing Drop&Go area. Those extra £6 goes on the customer's bill. Some days I do 4 Drop offs and couple of Pick ups it's could cost me £40 - 50 a day just on parking fees. They make millions of pounds. Even Heathrow Drop Off is £5 😊 In this video I wanted to show that you can avoid those £6 Drop Off Fee if you allow a little bit of time when you dropping off your friend's or family members at Bristol airport. Have a good day.
That's extortionate. So on averages, depending on how many Bristol. airport runs you have . They could be costing you 300 ,400 quid a week . That is a lot isn't it. What am I moaning about .
It's depends how many airports runs you having a week. That amount was the most I spent on parking. I do a lot of Heathrow runs. My monthly average on Airport fee's including Bristol, London airports is about £200 monthly.
Sorry for your inconvenience. Which would you like to be moved; the Motorway or the Airport? Perhaps both?
Relocating the motorway or the airport is not feasible, but expanding the roads leading to the airport is a practical solution. Improving access through wider roads would greatly ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity.
