Them primary chains are the biggest junk piece on the whole bike a nice gold racing chain will have that baby on the road for as long as the frame last. Mine made it 80+ hours with rpm up to 6k on that Lifan engine. Got a new one now she’s awesome.
hi, I've got a flat rear tyre on my motorised bike and want to take it off to fix/replace it... all I want to know is how to go about removing the back wheel.. eg ie which parts need to unbolt etc.. in your video you fast forwarded through how you did it (probably because it's common knowledge for everybody else except me!)... do you have, or know of, a video instructing how to do this? when I search all I find is how to do it on electric bikes which is useless to me. this video of yours was the only one I found that was relevant. many thanks if can help, cheers, Jon
Thanks for the video Glenn. You make solid rides brother
@@Cavemanmechanic thanks brother

@seniormechanic4555 always brother.sorry this video was so slow but it's a brand new engine she's not ready for higher rpms yet.thanks for watching
@glenssmallenginecreations yeah i know, i had many like this, i was living in my gramps farm for few years and when i had to go to the town for somethin small like pack of coffee i didnt want to go with my truck and bought Bt100, put it on old bicycle that i bought of garage sale for 15 bucks, used it for few years, like almost every day while i was fixing my combine or the tractors, when i needed somethin small like washers or wd40 can, it was fun to go the store with the motorized bike
Thats a very crisp sounding engine. I am building two of my own right now. I also plan to develope a weed eater powered stand up scooter this summer and see how it will go. I plan to base it off of a Razor electric scooter.
@@Outback69 the engine is now on my wife's cruiser I just put a new yd100 on this frame. Sounds like you have some nice projects yourself. Good luck with them but most importantly have fun. Thanks for watching
You should check the cdi take the cover off on the left side
And check the magneto
@@Grim-np8wpI believe you mean the stator and magneto cover on the engine. The problem was a failed cdi .I replaced it and has been running great for more than 2 yrs now. Thanks for watching

@@MrBri_Guy thanks and yeah I live in the perfect place for a motorized bike.Endless miles of empty back roads with very little traffic. Have a wonderful holiday season and thanks for watching
@ Happy holidays! That’s awesome, Ride safe!
Thanks for sharing brother yes the worst part of these engines is breaking them in but a crucial part of the engines life you and your family have a Great blessed Marry Christmas brother
@@mikemiller3303thanks you brother and yes I hate the break in period lol but as you stated it's a critical point in the engines life.i tried just riding like normal on a 49cc yrs ago without breaking it in cause I was new to the hobby and some guys had said they didn't need to be broke in.the engine quickly snagged a ring and grenades itself 🤦♂️ live and learn lol Hooe you have a wonderful Holiday season brother and thanks for your ongoing support ✌️👍
Thx for video Glen.
@@Matt-hj4mw thanks for watching Matt and good to see you back in the comment section brother. Hope you have a Merry Christmas be safe
It’s beautiful, I came across this place on google earth while I was exploring Indiana. It kinda sad to think about how the whole surrounding area was all wilderness but it’s all gone now and all that’s lift is this giant long rectangle of wilderness forest in Indiana

Oh boy that's my favorite engine
@@KevinTodd lol
I wish someone with major YD100 experience made a video where they gave all the numbers of widths, angled & shapes...To get a decent top speed but still with good low end... Somehow my 49mm iron sleeve that's 1 or 2yrs old kept gradually producing more power. It used to not have much bottom end power. But now after riding it for a year. It pulls up hills much better...The piston & rings fit super tight when new. So tight the piston wouldn't drop through the cylinder. I had to keep honing with a drill & 3 stone cylinder hone. Until the piston could drop through without sticking. Then once the rings were on. It was a very tight fit to get cyl on. Much tighter than the chrome sleeve 47mm that was very easy to get cyl on.
@@michaelbrinks8089 sorry but for me top speed isn't a priority and I'm just not into spending hrs of my time working on these cheap bicycle engines lol if it was a car,yes absolutely but not on a $100 Chinese engine lol hope you find what your looking for brother and thanks for watching
@@glenssmallenginecreations On a bicycle 🚲 with regular frame & wheels I'm only looking for 40 mph max but with decent low end.....Tentbikes build a $3600 2 stroke bike & loves to go 75mph
I think a chop saw with a thin blade could make a nice straight cut, to turn it into a 2 piece cylinder. Most cop saws have a built in vice 🗜️ clamp. I bet a muffler shop would cut the head for cheap. It'd only take a couple minutes.
@@michaelbrinks8089 you're probably right about that..give it a try I'd love to see what kind of results you get👍
