It's very common for beginners to use their breathing to do the chest pop. The next step is to learn to do it WITHOUT using their breath. Place your hand on your chest and try to use your chest to move your hand, You can alternatively think of using the space between your shoulder bladesn (push it forward).

Thank you for your kind comment! Just to share why I have different styles of dances here. Some of them are considering competitions & exams so I would not be teaching them fusion dances as they need to learn the proper steps and techniques for those respective dances. As for the party dances, they just wanna have fun, so yes, shimmy is always an option. However many of them are not keen on shimmy, that's why I don't always include the shimmy even though it is possible, like you have mentioned. That's why I have the separate channel for shimmy so only my shimmy videos go there. 😄 But I am glad that you love the shimmy fitness videos!

@@DanceWithZyenhoo Thank you for replying. I love the shimmy fitness. it is the best. But also this is fun too. But the shimmy is a great workout and fun to do. this here is like you said, more to learn if you are doing this dance for shows or to learn this proper steps to this style dance. I get that and it is cool too. learn different styles along the way. Well I know the ladies are not to big on shimmy but would love to do it for fun, like a party together just full hour shimmy fitness to cool songs you do and latin remix songs too. just to shimmy it up and have the ladies at times have a fun little shimmy battle together for a few minutes, just to laugh, enjoy the moments. So hope you can do thsi soon for hour long video with the ladies on this. thank you Zyenhoo.
