Creating something unique from old parts can be very rewarding. It often involves creativity, resourcefulness, and a bit of problem-solving. You can repurpose materials to make art, furniture, or even gadgets. The process not only gives new life to discarded items but also allows you to express your personal style and innovation.

Heavy load camping trailer build (DIY)
this was a good learning curve 😊
Those cheek cuts are wrong on the hip. You marked 45 degrees which they are not, only in plan.
Great the way your creative mind works, I know where to come when I need to bend train parts over 600mm. Great job.
Nice work steve
Fab as usual x
Great project😁
Sorry to be a spoil sport but the 45 degree back cut on the hip rafter is wrong the back cut angle varies with the pitch of the roof. It is 45 degrees on plan but not when you mark it out on the rafter. That’s why the back cut on the hip rafters has gaps and doesn’t fit tight against the common rafters at the top.
Brilliant good work
well you can do all this using trigonometry and maths without this dance and gymnastic - greetings from Poland
Excellent
Your techniques are impressive......
Expert at work making it look so easy
takes a good mentor

Very excellent description

Make a video of how to make a double birdmouth cuts to sit between a cavity of 150 cm with overhang
Very informative video, I have learnt how to build my conservatory roof.
So when you built the roof, you mentioned hipped.....does that mean the corner pieces of wood going up to the central piece you made first? It looks like a potential little house on wheels.....it that what it is?
Hi , thanks for your interest I will show the hips in the continued next video but yes you're correct and this is going to be a amazing camping trailer .
Love the wood work excellent
Thankyou
Looks good.
thankyou
Interesting but worrying. He should take many precautions because of lead toxicity. I didn't see any precautions at all.
Great work Steve, make it look easy 🤣
Great to see some of the old lead casting methods being used, and how you are learning as you go along ( scraping off contamination that floats to the top and pouring technic). Being creative is a great asset as it promotes problem solving and best of all the satisfaction of a job well done.
Thinking out of the box, is a sure way to be recognised in your multitude of skills. Brilliant stuff
