MBARA Florida
Приєднався 2 лют 2010
The Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association (MBARA) was formed in January of 1997 and has since deployed over 150 artificial reefs. The primary function of the organization is the conservation and environmental improvement of our natural and artificial marine reef systems in the Gulf of Mexico near Mexico Beach, Florida, but that is not all that has been done by the organization. Since its inception, the MBARA has also worked very hard to conduct and promote scientific research and evaluation of reef designs, biomass development, and fish productions.
The third function of the MBARA is educating the public about the importance of reef systems to the marine ecosystem, and the impact they have on the coastal communities where they are built. All parties benefit when the information on reefs is disseminated to the public. School children, the organization's members, and the general public need to know all about reefs and reef building in order to help promote conservation and environmental improvement of the marine reef systems.

Looking forward to see pics from underwater as life starts to grow on them!

When was this group put down? The growth is phenomenal!
@@djmoore6634 2016 and 2017. A shrimp net caused some damage. Then, Hurricane Michael caused more.
I can hardly wait to participate with your organization
How far offshore are these?
@@GarageBoundLLC approximately 13 nm SW of Mexico Beach Canal. It's posted on our website now.
Just amazing, it’s something I would like to do one day. I would love to scuba dive on these reef/ memorials and possibly one day I’ll be among them.
You guys in MB are doing it right. I hope to retire there one day. 🫡🫡🍺🍺👍👍
Fantastic tribute to a magnificent man!
Thank you very much!
Wow this Vides is amazing!! I am super excited to see this ! I am currently hosting a TV show called Menghayati which means connection to all living things. I am curious to know if you would be willing to share your video with public television audiences ! Look forward to hearing from you ! Peace, Joy, and happiness always Erik the Reptile Guy PS what time of year was this??
I loved this, right down to accompanying sound track. When permitting is complete, I may want my cremains placed there.
Awesome!
Gorgeous... swimming with the fishes.
The ending was exciting knowing that the videographer was mere inches from death(barracuda).
I have seen the Neopomacentrus cyanomos damselfish scuba diving in Thailand. For some reason they were super abundant there though. There were clouds of them swimming around.
Are you saying this antenna move a whole quarter mile during the storm?
Amazing!
3:49 plus is a great piece of film!
Thanks!
Very nice!
Thanks!
I appreciate your videos. Thanks! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
My Brothers resting place!
Caught a nice Goliath grouper off that site in May 2023
Great video Bob. I like how the first song meshed with your inhaltions and that steady hand of yours. I emailed mbara admin for info on participation.
Awesome, thank you! I'll be responding to your email today.
I really appreciate you sharing this video. Can't wait to dive to see it
You're welcome!
Wasting all our tax money. U can’t stop what’s happening. They’ll be bleached before they reach puberty… y’all act like y’all so scared of dying but quick to kill… lmao… corals make endogenous oxygen. Yes animals.. which means if u need oxygen ur a Animal period… dog as humans
Thank you so much for sharing the deployment!!! I was sad that I couldn't be there when Ernie's was deployed. This gave me the opportunity to experience it too.
We were glad we can do it for families to enjoy!
I love seeing whats under the boat! thank you

You guys rock. 👍👍
Drew is my sister's son. He left us too soon. He grew up on the water and ended in the water as a reef. His memory will live forever.
Drew is my nephew. He was a kind and gentle spirit. He rests beneath the waves forever.
should get a lot more views now God bless 😎
What a gem to stumble across
Couldn't find this one on MBARA's website. Any coordinates?
This is very enjoyable to watch, and the music is very nice too.
Miss you on your birthday, my friend!
This is my brother.. I love him!
What even is this and why is it under water??
Good day team! What is the usage right on this video? Who can I talk to regarding using this footage in a Whale Musem exhibit? I looked at the MBARA website for contact info and could not find anything. Hope to hear from someone soon as we would love to use a snipped of the Leatherback Turtle eating jellyfish for an educational video clip that will be in the Whale Museum.
How deep is it?
This music is an instrumental of ...? What?
bunch of ringtail
Looks Awesome - can't wait to see them again in 2021! Thanks MBARA and Panama City Diving for all you support with this important project for Bay County.
How do I go about getting the coordinates for this location?
Bay County will work on posting them to their website. MBARA will also publish them on our Water Resistant Reef Flip Charts and Waypoint Data Files on SD/Micro-SD Cards around the first of the year.
Such a gorgeous creature... unfortunately, egg poaching, pollution and fishing nets are killing these turtles :(
Yes, that's why we need to help them.
