HAWKER 800 Take Off Toluca 2022

Departing Toluca, A birdstrike just climbing out of the airport on the Right engine. Full procedure, autopilot off and manual return to the field with a visual landing, one engine. Great skills by the pilots. Sorry for that brief moment where I drop the camera got a little nervous, but regained confidence as pilots did an amazing job.
Harsh landing A380 LAX
Not sure what happened, it was all very smooth, up till the last couple of seconds before landing, we felt a drastic up and down and it seemed a bit of Windshear?, anyway, it felt in the end as if the pilot was about to abort and miss approach, but, it landed, hard....Safe though. But I be that structural walkthrough for the next flights will leave a mark.
Business Class of Singapore Air A380 take off from LAX
I uploaded this video, with some nostalgia, as Singapore doesn't fly the A380 anymore on the LAX-NRT route. This was taken in 2014 on my first time traveling to Tokyo, on board SQ11 in business class bound for Narita. I will post as well the landing back, with some harsh touch down in LA,. Hope you enjoy...

I got lost in the highway and found out this amazing road. I will have to return here with a more aggressive driving once I get to know the road better. Enjoy

Couple of pros. I'd need a stiff drink after that.

You know what I really hate about videos like this ? It's the wankers in the comments trying to show off their knowledge.
this looks like flight simulator
In times like these, everyone wishes the pilot was an old white man who flew combat sorties in a war.
Absolutely glorious! These guys were ice and it was beautiful to behold.
The co-pilot looked like he was a nervous wreck. It might be a good idea to know what to do in an emergency situation before you get it one. These guys are learning on the fly (pardon the pun).
They handled this emergency well. Good pilots. For anyone complaining about the yoke just go look at Concords.
If I was a pilot I'd learn the blown engine procedure by memory none of this flipping through the user manual nonsense! Not impressed!
USE THE AUTOPILOT, Put the checklist down..!
Textbook
I hope the bird is ok
*no birds were harmed during the making of this video*
Amazing piloting. Also amazing videography. You kept with the instruments, and briefly moved to the outside view from time to time, just enough to let us know what was happening. Kudos to you, under what must have been very stressful circumsatances.
Interesting how they ended up shutting down the number 2 even though there was no engine fire and it was making minimum idle thrust. But I guess if the QRH says to do it you do it.
The guy on the right should have manually operated the prop on the dead engine using the bicycle-pedal-prop-over ride-fail safe system but instead he just reach for the inflight menu and was asking the captain if he wanted tortillas. For those of you who don't understand Mexican, the guy on the left said he had already eaten and would get a snack later during the flight. Luckily the Hawker is fully automated or this could have ended in a major disaster.
Amazing footage. May I feature a short clip of this on my channel? I'll link to your video for full credit. Thanks and have a good day!
Handlebars similar to Concorde
Nailed it. It was like he had the QRH in his lap already
They did not “nail it”. THis is embarassing to post on the internet. The engine never failed. It simply made noise. THEY shut it down.
and suddenly there is a lot of hands in the cockpit. :D
big fire in the ten o clock direction as they approach the runway
Looks hectic to me, shouldn’t they be cooler? They even forgot the flaps…
We pilots call them Labia.
Interesting fact. The Hawker 4000 took 5 years from manufacture of a functional prototype to the first customer delivery. 2001 - 2006. This was due to testing, improvement and FAA certification.
Good job guys 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Sooooo sad. Poor bird.
Seems like a bit of panic in the first few moments. 1. “Sit on your hands” and analyze the problem. 2. Run the appropriate Memory items. 3. Follow with the appropriate checklist. (The PNF grabbed the wrong checklist initially). This wasn’t a drastic situation, no fire, good weather, close to the airport. Just my opinion based upon 20k hours as a Captain.
Pilot needs to say it not spray it 🤣. Did anyone notice the amount of spray that came out of his mouth when he talks?
why they didnt climb more?? what if they would've hit birds on the left engine...?
Quite impressive. One great use of AI could be the emergency checklists in cockpits. Instead of one of the pilots sifting through pages, they could speak a command or emergency situation and the computer spits out a checklist.
Wish I understood their language. Was that French ? I could tell they were slightly anxious. But well composed excellent. Job. I think the camera guy was nervous, he tilted his focus to the controls pretty quickly
Spanish
Gaddamn birds lol
It’s interesting how different operators and manufacturers work. In my company you’d never close a thrust lever without diagnosing the malfunction and confirming that you’ve got the correct thrust lever. The process takes a lot more time, but it’s much more structured.
They’ll probably blame a drone!
The strike shows up on the central screen from 1:50, where a red light appears under the starboard engine dials, and the uppermost dial starts falling.
2:11 Flight Checklist - Volume 1 or 3 😮😮😮😱
Surprised how many times the copilot went to the checklist (5 times) before finally opening it up.
What's his indication for the engine being down? Is it just the sound? He started throttling down so quickly.
Dos cervezas por favor.
They don’t look professionally prepared… there’s quite a bit of confusion in the cockpit
My way to heaven
Err, does the autopilot function on one engine?? Can be very helpful you know chaps...
Professionalism.
Piss poor CRM.
