Now is a good time to consider myself after 4 years of being the sole care giver to my beloved husband. He died 10 days ago at nearly 100 from an operation to remedy a fractured femur. I need rest first and then to create a new life for me. I never considered a vision board before. Slowly I will shift gears to now consider myself.

7:50 ABs are vicious… So I’ve only ever seen Shayne being funny and not serious and I’m obsessed with him and his comedy but to see him in a serious setting is just… weird lol but in a good way! I don’t know if I’ve ever liked anyone so much lol he’s so real and straight up but funny too but can be serious about the right things… he’s just a whole package for real. I think if I had to pick just one thing about him I love the most it would be how he always thought of himself as like the underdog, he’s always been a person who others undervalued, such as being white in a majority black gang, in a gang in general lol, being a nerd at the same time, having the face and throat tats, so all those things are all things a lot of people misjudge and they put a lower status on those people but for him, he’s now getting the chance to grow and show how smart and knowledgeable he really is and like him talking about being with all the high ranking people and scientists and him being dressed like a normal person but he still killed it… man I freaking love this for him!! Like all those struggles, they don’t define you, your looks don’t define you, and he’s getting a chance now to be like hey! You said I’d never be anything! And now I’m just getting started. But yes STILL so humble about it all… ugh if I could ever have one wish, it wouldn’t be for money, or be for material things, if would just be to meet him and tell him I’m someone that can see through to the inside, I can see and feel who he is as a person and I love him for it. I love how he’s out there representing all us people who are judged so harshly for no other reason than just living life and making mistakes as if noone else makes mistakes lol no, they do, we just don’t hide shit and lie about shit, we’re open , but we’re also open to learning new things every day to try to make a better way for those who come after us, our children and their children… i could comment forever lol

I love this, I don't think it's tough love, I think it's gaining perspective, maybe what you desire is not the thing itself but the change in you as you go towards your desire. the lifestyle, the habits, etc

I also feel like reading books saved me. My mom was pretty chaotic growing up (untreated bipolar and was in a high demand religion) which led to me being grounded most of my childhood. I spent most of that time escaping my room through books. Years later when I was trying to get sober and heal, books became my lifeline once again.

I am looking at my baking cacao in a whole different way now. ❤
