First, there are several music awards besides the grammys, like the CMA awards. 2nd, until Michael Jackson in the 80s, blacks weren't played on other music channels, and thats why BET is older than MTV or VH1. Lastly, it is specific to a group of people target for specific genres they make.

The investment thing isn't necessarily wrong. Poor people do indeed squander their resources just like rich people despite having less. The issue is that most poor people don't do the leg work to inform themselves on potentially beneficial financial investments.
