    What an incredibly gracious Lady .. This was such a privilege to 'spend time' with her especially after seven years since she left this earth. When she said on her ideas of Faith, 'I think this is the end of me', if only she had realised that even seven years after her death her words, beauty and exceptional dignity were resonating with such a tour de force of remarkability. Thank you ((❤))

    She is a very intelligent amazing woman who has some much class & grave even at this time in her life. I love how the Dr lets her speak and does not interrupt her while she is answering his questions. She has been through so much and she kept going until she could no longer teach. She is a very dedicated teacher and I hope that they appreciated her for that.

    She is such an incredible intelligent woman. I can tell that she is a fighter, but she also is facing the cold hard facts of her situation. I admire her logical thinking and reasoning. She wants to die with her dignity and with a sound mind. May you rest in peace sweet lady. ❤

    This comment goes to UA-cam. Why are they putting warning signs before an interview? Why should I have to confirm that I’m ok with somebody talking about their life and their death? Death is a normal part of life, even though many of us wish to avoid it. I shouldn’t be forced to acknowledge that I’m seeing something horrible as if I’m gonna be watching something violent or sexual, which UA-cam has plenty of without warnings. UA-cam do better!

      We don’t know if she is or not big I hope so to but while we are alive we don’t have to guess or hope Christ left the Bible so we can know for sure through our free will to accept or reject him biblical account on eternity I’m order to enter beach after death one must’ be born again Trust by faith that Jesus is God and he proved that by his virus birth his death burial and resurrection so if anyone belive that they will go to heaven for eternity right away after death

    I think ableism is responsible for the exponential and demonstrable rise in calls for legalised assisted dying. Unfortunately that puts disabled people at risk in terms of the abuse of the system that would inevitably rise. So my response will always be, sorry no. Birth and death is a necessarily messy business. It can be painful, unpredictable and dirty. however both are inevitable. Good luck in birth and death, good luck.

    I'm 54 and dying with metastatic breast cancer, (I've been disabled by a different condition my whole adult life). I wonder why anyone elderly, particularly if they believe in a god, would choose suicide/assisted dying.

    I couldn't help thinking of divorce. The loss of the entity of a marriage seems to parallel the loss felt with the loss of life. It is not meant to be but does often happen and is very painful.

    I think 82 is a great age to finish up. It’s only a few years past life expectancy, but you’ve lived a long enough life to have seen a lot of things. I’m 55 and in good health despite some high blood pressure, go to the gym to do cardio for 30-45 minutes and finish it off with 15-20 minutes in a sauna followed by a cold shower. I’ll be just fine making it to at least my late 70’s and want to go no more than 90. Why live that long and be a burden to your children? Only people with genetics off the charts and wealthy people living in California and parts of New England are still sharp as a tack and still exercising daily life real long. Or else like my almost 105 year old grandma that’s had Alzheimer’s for years, can’t walk anymore, and doesn’t remember us. One exception was Richard Overton, a WW2 vet that lived to be 112, yet at 109, he still lived independently and drove his truck to the grocery store and church and didn’t need hospice care until 111.

    • @sarahloughlin3724
      @sarahloughlin3724 6 місяців тому

      Just wondering what parts of New England have people living a long time? I happen to live in Connecticut and there seems to be a lot of people dying of cancer and heart disease at a young age.
