Thats a cute little frog. Interesting environment too.
I think so too!
What if you did plant tour? 😬
I can give a plant tour soon.
Now…this is EPIC 😎😎
Your in silhouette. Bad lighting. Can't see what your doing well enough.
Thank you for the feedback.
Beautiful isn't it!? Born and raised in New Mexico ❤
It sure is!
Arson lmao
Nice video. I did the baggie thing and they did great. How often do you water the 2 year olds?
Depends on the temperature…it’s been 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day where I live at moderate humidity and I water about twice a week for the youngling’s maybe three times if the soil is dry.
@@TannerJackKyler Ok great. Thanks!
Nice video of my home state. Isn't it amazing?!
No place like home...nice video. I've never thought of making videos of home.
The town is spelled Chamisal and the church you show in that segment is actually in Trampas, not Chamisal. Though they are neighboring villages. Beautifully put together video btw!
Sorry for the confusion, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome plants!
Thanks you too!
Nice travelogue. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
New Mexico sunsets are the best 👌🏽🖤
Update? are they over an inch tall yet? lol Just planted some myself, I plan on giving them to a good friend on my death bed. who knows maybe someone will get to witness them when there fully grown Keep in mind this cactus can grow up to 150+ years old!
Only one survived a power outage during a blizzard, I can do an update video soon.
If i go there, can i pick them?(only seed or the babies)
I have some in cultivation that I am willing to ship or I can send you seed!
@@TannerJackKyler im in Indonesia rn😭😭
This moss is very madicinal for wounds.
West has some beautiful sunsets indeed. Although since the chem trails been interrupting the sky's they do give off a pinkish hue at times. Wear a cover when you go out. Unfortunately not like it use to be.
What do you mean wear a cover?
I wasnt going to microwave until you did it. I have a mixed cactus seed packet Im trying to start today. Happy to have found you!
ohmigosh so glad i found you!
THANK YOU FOR THIS!
I gre up in the Mojave and you are irresponsible..
I grew up on that land so I am aware of any dangers. I would like to know what you mean by “you are irresponsible”.
To be "Aware" AND Stupidis worse than being unaware.@@TannerJackKyler
Alright, I don’t think you understand how the English language works so maybe try learning it before commenting.
Tyler Mac beware of snakes
next time you go out there check out the Black Rock Hot Springs just west of Arroyo Hondo but be aware that there might be naked people in there! i own some land close to where you were camped at the end of the video and have seen the horny toads there also.
Thank you for the recommendation! I’m gonna be back there over this summer sometime so I will definitely keep that in mind!
Giant burial mounds
That's amazing
O.....k.....
This place really is awesome
Make sure to check it out in spring not summer!
lived in NM nd never sw tht
It’s an epic sight to see!
Water, lots and lots of water did that
Yes, melting glaciers rapidly eroded the whole landscape!
@@TannerJackKyler you say that melting ice created them, I think lots of water. Pretty much the same thing except I wonder if ice could even melt at that rate to cover that vast of an area with standing water. I don’t know, it’s just my opinion. If you are willing to go deeper in this conversation, I would like to ask your opinion on how you believe the Grand Canyon was formed?
maybe Thelocactus at the end?
I looked at it and believe it is a Thelocactus hexaedrophorus, Thankyou for helping me identify this species!
no problem. one of my favorites. i've got a bunch growing from seed.
Love this one. Can you share with us where you purchased this one? Thanks!!!
I purchased it from a cacti nursery in Midwest city Oklahoma, at J & J Cactus and Succulents - Open by Appointment Only
Awesome cactus!! Echinopsis is one of my favs!
Me too…the blooms are incredible!
Nice content bro
Thank you!
Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching!
Don't take the sand home with you. That shit is still active.
Thank you for the information!
If you want sand from there, there is the visitor center that sales it.
White Sands is Phenomenal ! If you visit? Visit it on a FULL MOON NIGHT .... IT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD !! The illumination factor will leave you speechless !! 😎😎😎
Great advice! I may be coming back through there this summer so I’ll check it out!
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Love the subject matter but the camera movement needs to be slower as it was hard to see the views you presented. It looks like a fun trip.
Thanks for the advice, I believe the quality will increase because on this trip I didn’t prepare to make a video. As I move forward with making videos I will start capturing better videos!
Hi, I very much enjoyed your video, so much so, I have ordered one of these and i am hoping it will arrive later this week. I have some experience with Copiapoa but I would be very interested in the substrate mix you use and watering routine. Do you plan on making a video on Euphorbia perhaps ? Thanks again.
Thank you very much, and yes I do plan on making a euphorbia video and will do that soon to get you that information. But to answer your question a normally pot my euphorbias in a similar soil mix to cacti, I add slightly more organic matter and water more frequently, mostly in the winter.
Mmmmajestic! I really enjoyed!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Spectacular. I also saw an old video, how is your bearded dragon doing?
Sadly he passed away, he was a rescue and was 7 when I got him and he already had mbd. I battled with it for about 6 years and it progressed too far, he passed away at 13.
How is the bear del dragon doing?
He passed away from MbD which he had always had since I got him. He was a rescue I had for 7 years and he was about 6 when I got him, so he was 13.
We were there this summer beautiful country.
Very relaxing!
How much does it take to gey high?
Um… I’m not sure, I believe they only have alkaloids in them, but that won’t do much. I think you are referring to another species of cacti known as peyote which contains mescaline.
@TannerJackKyler I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that Saguaro is also Active with different alkaloids. 🤔 I know that Mescaline is found in Peyote and San Pedro's variants. I wonder if it's like Psilocybin mushrooms vs Amanita Muscaria... Oh well worth the ask. Beautiful specimen watch out for poachers
I'd been in N. Dakota recently. N. Dakota looks very, very nice in the summer but I don't like in the winter. I'm now live in Tennessee.
Very nice ❤❤❤
Thank you for the kind words!
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
What soil mixture did you use Miracle Grow for cactus? Thanks.
That works, or use can make your own using 50% sand, 40% peat or potting soil, and 10% perlite . I use about 1/2” of pea gravel on the bottom to help drainage.
@@TannerJackKyler Thanks.
Beaver pond water smells worse than sewage it's all black & nasty, no wonder it produces methane from all the rotting material in the beaver ponds.
That’s is from decomposing microorganisms and vegetation, similarly to how swamps have a foul smell from methane. It is harder to smell it in running shallow water. Beavers have been damming rivers and streams for thousands of years, colonist have intervened in a completely natural and important process.
Beaver dams actually cause damage and destroy property, roads, cause train derailments and flood farmers fields, they lead to Global warming, any material covered by the flood water from beaver dams rot decay and turn into methane gas which causes global warming, it s greenhouse gas,
Post10 on here has a few videos with Methane bubbles coming out of beaver dam water when he's unclogging culverts.
This is a natural process and they do not emit near as much gas as the average American does in a year.
Great video! Thanks a lot!
