Wayne Shorter - Twelve More Bars to Go
Classic album
I used to play this song on my dad's LP back in 1975. It still takes me far away. Bless.
Coltrane is the only one in the history of music who can solo like this on any instrument.. The combination of lyricism and intricate scales is unmatched.
The panorama of my life unravels before my eyes. And still I know not yet where it will lay rest.
All the ups and downs ins and outs right sides up and upside downs of life careen before me.
❤❤ love it
Duke Pearson Donald Byrd James Spaulding Joe Henderson Bob Cranshaw and Mickey Rocker all enjoyed playing together. My late uncle Duke Pearson told me wonderful stories about some of the times they all had making music together that I will never forget.
Great cover of that New Order classic! LOL!
This is one of the great party records, along with Art Blakey's Drum Suite, Yma Sumac, Screamin Jay Hawkins...

The trombone solo by Wayne Henderson is spellbinding.
Returning from S.Vietnam when this song came out, Thank You to your group they are Tight!!!
I think Trane had a musical vision, that a lot of cats didn't have, man. 😎
初めて聞きましたがなんて落ち着く音なんだろう😊
Tiene alguna relacion el nombre del tema y el apellido del trombonista?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Greatest iconoclast jazz quartet thank you
Maybe this tune could be better ... but I don't see how
Coltrane was a genius; he completely transformed the song while remaining true to its essence
⚠ There's some digital skipping around 1:01 ... might need to re-rip this one. ⚠
🔥❤️
What a lineup of musicians.
You can’t go wrong with Elvin-Larry-Grant
Joe Bonner, his fantastic piano solo is absolutely great!
Un genio
Listen to the great Billy Higgins popping those drums. You just have to smile when you hear how intelligent and soulful he plays. Just cheerful and clear. So underrated...but actually not really.
Wow, this is as life
Oohhhhhhh… Back in the day, an Asian tv station, KWHY channel 22, used this when they signed off. I fell in love with it then, and have been in love with it ever since. Thank you for the magic, John.
GREATNESS...JUST GREATNESS !!!
Supreme jazz. .the stylish jazz i love i love the type of jazz. Were you can visual stepping into a jazz night club and this is playing. Every thing is going to beat. By ace of clubs. Is stunning music
Beautifully and respectfully sampled by Etienne de Crecy
Alfie is one of my favorite movies ever, and Michael Caine is one of my favorites as well.
...My Go To Blue Note Tune!, Full side two!...
This is my first time hearing anything from Nancy Wilson and Julian (Cannonball) Adderley! although this song was said to have been released in 1962, it sounds as if it were recorded a scant 62 minutes ago! That is what impresses me about this piece: sharpness; clarity; definition. I don't get that in today's recordings.
I am really happy for you! What a treat when you hear something so great for the first time.
Gangster chronicles
Note the stunning piano solo. And the transition ftom the Pianists solo to the Bass players solo. The Bass solo has to rank the Top Three Jazz Bass happenings to have ever been captured audibly.
I love that cool line the horns play along with the bass behind Cedar Waltons solo..it reminds me of a breezy bright sunny day and makes my soul happy!!!
JAZZ brings Class to Instruments and Makes them sing like a blue bird trying to be Seen it's a beautiful thing🎩*
Elvin Jones was never a disappointment the greatest drummer in jazz my opinion 🎼🎼💯

This Man could blow that thang and Make it Sang the truth with Some Joyfulness👍🎩*
Il più grande quartetto della storia del jazz.
