I hiked it for the first time about a week ago. It was tough but easier than I expected. I was not conditioned enough to do it without having to take multiple breaks and breathing heavily. I do feel i gained stamina from challenging myself here though. It was a great experience!

Haven't visited, is it noted on site that ruins were moved from Mesa Verde in 1902? It's said they were relocated to preserve history(MesaVerde is remote). I don't believe, moved(possibly built from local material)to an established, high volume tourism haven to compliment the finest gift shop in town...eternal gold mine😏

This is one of the absolute worst hikes to do when 1. You are not acclimated 2. You are hungover and 3. You are out of shape... that being said the view and looking at what you’ve done is the best thing you can imagine.
