Three versions of Howlin' Wolf's 'Little Red Rooster'. Probably my favourite blues classic. Completely impromptu and unrehearsed (I think you can tell!) #howlinwolfcover #littleredrooster #acoustic

another cover of Trisha Yearwood's song (I should say that while the stairwell was amazing to sing in, I think the song sounds better when listened to through headphones; less muzzy)

As a Welsh woman I have to pay homage to Bonnie and sing this; what an amazing song it is and what an incredible voice she has. I've sung it before but I never get tired of singing this. (my version here is best listened to through headphones)

Thank you so much for this. Never heard anyone talking about it, as there seems to be a false equivalence these days between what counts as great literature and what can be published at all - it even seems to happen in art galleries, etc. We seem to be very confused about where we stand as an art, and end up getting ourselves hemmed in by our own very small time period - so people end up focusing on what sells RIGHT NOW, rather than appreciating literature as a fluctuating life of its own. T. S. Eliot had an essay where he mentioned that great literature (or poetry? It still applies, anyway) manages to encapsulate (or at least be aware of) all of the past work that has been done in that discipline's history, so that you could stand one work against the other, and the newer piece of literature could be added with equal weight, as if all of these works stood on the same bookshelf. I still haven't come across a book these days that's given me that feeling. And you're absolutely right with that quote about "tuning in to a radio station".... that's exactly how it feels! I find that if I'm writing anything with an established form or a traditional "right way to do things" (e.g. short stories - the "right way" being some sort of shocking twist at the end), I can't hear my own voice above all the typical ways in which someone would write that story. I can only hear the "plot twist" sentence at the end of the idea, and I have to go away and listen to absolute silence just to get my own mind back. It drives me insaneeee.

Beautiful song that really calms my soul in these troubled times. Could you please sing *"Naked with the elder but no witness to his deed, Jehovah turns a blind eye as he pumps my ass with seed"* from the new 2024 song book? Agape from New York. 🙏 💗

Grace, your performance of this brought tears to my eyes. This is one of the most beautiful songs Watchtower ever produced. It tears me to pieces that something that caused so many years of needless pain could also be responsible for such beauty.

yesterday I`ve heard a song of the german musician Udo Jürgens in the radio: "Fünf Minuten vor zwölf". Now I wanted to find out what will happen at high noon. I`m not sure, wether I know more now. I don`t understand the whole text. You can find a little song-video from me at youtube: "Ein klares Wort" It`s text isn`t difficult to understand. And it`s not as perfect as this interpretation of Grace McCleen. There`s only missing somethig green in her video. 🪴
